The auto targeting feature of the module has a maximum range of 50 km. As stated on the item description "Targets any hostile ship within range on activation"
no body uses this but i think if it could have a 50 to 60 km boost of range
it might be more usfull especially for a intercepter alot of time ships come 40km from you jumping into the systems this would help solve this problem of having a 27km range at the expense of a high slot but atleast you have a better chance of targeting them!

so you want the auto target module to gain sensor booster attributes?

we already have 2 modules for that:
signal amplifier (lowslot)
sensor booster (mid slot)

for my tackling ares I use he low slot module and it works nicely.

I know of these 2 moduels but it would be nice to make this mod more attractive to pilots and give us more choices between all slots
especially if you want only turrets in the highs (or not)

Do you mean for it to increase the ship's locking range, or just the module's max range?

former- no. (sensor booster and signal amp)
latter- can't see why it has one really, just use the ship's locking range.

i think this idea goes with trying to make all mods have a reason to use them not to mention giving us more choices on our ships
thats why i brought it up trying to lock a fast ship at a gate camp
its dificult when the locking range is limited on a small ship and they are far away. I also think some one might not want to use the med or low slot for a sebo maybe they would need a high slot to help with this!!!
