In the course of doing kill missions, you'll inevitably be asked to blow away some other empire's navy rats. Problem is, these have no bounties - what the hell? Couldn't you assume that the Caldari State puts a million ISK bounty on that Amarr Navy Apocalypse so you don't walk away from the firefight with just a dual heavy beam laser and some capcharges as consolation? More free money pls.

It aint free money, you have invested your own time and isk to complete the mission.
I agree but in my own experience its the deadspace drones that wind me up.

1. All isk bounties are paid by CONCORD. CONCORD has no reason to be at war with either Amarr or Caldari, so why should they pay bounties for their ships? Rolling Eyes
2. Caldari and Amarr are not at war anyway. Read the backstory, foo Rolling Eyes
3. Of thoese Empires that are at war (like Caldari vs. Gallente), they do pay bounties for enemy ships. Just ask your friendly agent at the nearest station Rolling Eyes

Now my head is spinning from rolling my eyes so much Rolling EyesShockedRolling Eyes

They do? I've killed a shed-load of Caldari navy for the glory of the Fedaration, don't recall any bounties on them. Am I doing something wrong here?

This is a reference to the tags they drop, which in theory can be traded via agent offers for isk.

Doesn't seem anything to get excited about though, from the offers I've seen. Personally, I'd rather keep the loyalty points for worthwhile offers.

None of the empires are at war, not even Gallente and Caldari.

The Navy NPCs drop insignias, which you will be able to sell on the market in the pirate faction home bases soon. You can currently sell the insignias through agent offers if you are working for a pirate faction.

No, I didn't mean dog tags, these are just icing on the cake Razz

Half of the time I ask my Minmatar agent for work, he sends me to a bookmark where I have to shoot some Ammar scum, and upon returning to the agent I get money for it. If that isn't bounty hunting I don't know how to call it Cool

Yeah Zrak, dogtags. I'm just saying, it'd be nice to have a certainty of getting some cash for killing a ship, instead of dogtags that "may or may not" drop and that "can theoretically" be sold to pirate agents or something. I mean, level 4 missions are long when soloed, you're looking at a hour's worth of constant rat fighting in some cases. It'd be nice if after that hour you had some cold hard cash in your pocket to spend on space hookers.

I feel that anything that a mission requires you to kill, should have some kind of cash bounty on it. God knows the loot alone isn't enough ;\

What about the non-empire sorts who aren't pirates? The Khanids, Thukker Mix, Intaki Syndicate, so on..? Amarr and Ammatar could conceivably offer bounties on Minmatar ships..
