So,
I have these days when I am working hard at home, am totally tired, slept half the day, occasionally hungover and so forth and don't have energy or time to really clean and do my hair all properly if I need to go to the store in a hurry.
As much as I love looking like a bum sometimes, there are occasions when i'd much rather just hide it :)
The problem is, I hate sports teams and fandom, and I don't want to look like one of "those" people, and I don't want to look like a nerd wearing some hat for some company. And the few plain looking hats i've seen were really weird and awkward.
Any advice?
Preferably inexpensive but I've got the cash money if necessary.

well ive taken up wearing a c-crown fedora, its got a nice large brim and goes with basically anything i wear, except for dress shirts, ive got a dress fedora for that =P
also google village hat shop, they sell felt c-crowns for about 20 bucks each |

I have a cowboy hat I got from a shop in Monterey, Calafornia when I went to the seaworld centre there. I have only worn it at lan parties as for something different. |

ok since my post was removed =P here are my two recommendations here is a good large brimmed hat, my friend has one and it looks awesome here is a good baseball cap, you can fold that flap on the back into the hat and wear it like a normal cap, and it has no logos or crap on it =p |

For summer I suggest a floppy 'fishermans hat' or 'early madchester bez hat'
For winter any beeny will surfice
Baseball caps just look chavvy (in the UK ... dunt know about US)

I generally wear unassuming fitted black t-shirts and a nice pair of jeans (dark or grey). Some of these replies are nifty but not quite stuff that would work. Maybe I just need to settle for ye olde sports ballcap and not worry about it's affiliations with things I'm not into. |

If you are looking for a hat, look no further!!! The right hat is right here!But it might be best if you are scandinavian... As people most likely will think you are one while wearing it. |

i wear basically the same thing, black tucked in shirt and dark blue jeans, the dark brown c-crown looks awesome with it |

Cant go wrong with a peaked beanie. I buy the DC ones but unfortunately not the ones on this page with the obvious obnoxious branding... The I ♥ haters hat is pretty awesome however and there are some other cool ones  |
