I'm confused as to where to download this product. Google searches yielded many many out of date products, some from as early back as January of 2009. I see no link in the thread and I am not sure what to do.

get new version from http://sourceforge.net/projects/evemeep/files/EVEMEEP_3_1_0_0.zip/download
and do an update afterwards (everything needs to be updated) --- seems its time to make a new thread and zip :-)

Lets start with the latest versions please : (just check my previous posting within this thread for download location)
Multiaccount support ---- many players use more than one account - including me - so I wanted to have all the data on one page in ONE application (wealth, items, ...) and this is what 'multiaccount support' for evemeep does.
If you like to know more --- ask your question -- and/or try it

First off - just found this program and so far i like it, i wanted a program to calculate my reprocessing in a fast and painless way.

Your program is halfway there i feel. This is what i think would get you all the way:

I'm not in reprocessing business so I take every idea and see if I can put it in. The current version is the outcome of some earlier posts -- and as there was not really a response for it -- I have no idea if its useful or not.
My use of this plugin is very simple --- I take just one item -- and compare its selling value vs. mineral selling/buying value.

    Originally by: Mekkachiba Kaldermon

There is the possibility to load a list of items. From an earlier posting I still have the 'container' -> send to reprocessing' functionality in development queue

    Originally by: Mekkachiba Kaldermon

You have however my inventory in the bar next to the reprocess one, i think you should combine those two features.
This is how i imagine it to work-

Under Assets Tab -> sort by location -> select desired station -> select all the items you want to get rid off -> right click -> add to reprocess list -> activate reprocess plugin -> list is now updated with the items you selected under assets

Thats how it should work -- if the 'container' (station is just a bigger one :-) 'send to reprocessing' is done

    Originally by: Mekkachiba Kaldermon

And to add some more awesome to this system you can adjust a pain threshold slider for how much negative or positve the ISK gain will be for an item for you to think its worth putting time on placing a sell order.
(IE. Purely on paper i would get about 1 000isk more if i would sell this than reprocess but as you only have a few modules of this sort you would rather sell it)

this sounds like 'SellPrice' and 'MatSellPrice' column values (you need to select this columns within settings)
    the others I'll check

    Thank you Grimdahl.

Some things for you to note:

In the efficiency tab EveMEEP is incorrectly loading my profile with Production Efficiency V. In My Profile I only have PE IV trained. However I do have PE partially trained past IV which may be part of the problem, but I'm sure you know better than me.

Additionally, in the efficiency tab when I swap back and forth between characters EveMEEP will lock up for a lengthy time (over 30 seconds.)

Hey Grimdahl, first of all, I would just like to say that I love this program. You have made an enormous contribution to the EVE community by maintaining this program.

Second, do you mind if other people (attempt) to write plugins for EVE-MEEP? I just figured out how to get it to build without generating errors (compile the plugins FIRST, then move them to the output directory THEN build the solution). I was thinking that I might like to use this as an excuse to learn C#, as well as develop a tool to help me manage my POS reactions.

    Ok Grimdahl :)
looking forward to coming updates then, been looking thru the rest of the features and i think this program will be loved by my alt as soon as things falls in place.

hello mr grimdahl. i think some suggestions for the reprocesssing view came from me. unfortunately i had technical difficulties and was in/out of game for a while. the suggestions were made at a time when i regularly had a list of about 50 items to reprocess (list unchanging). with the reduction of the module drops from missions that has changed and my regular list has been reduced radically for couple of months now. i am revisiting evemeep now after 2-3 months away from the pc. is there an option to manually set mineral prices in the reprocess window? i dont seem to be able to find it.

on another note, to whom can i send suggestions about walletview useability? :-)

long: No -- I do not know better. This application is too big to verify each of its function every time I change something and/or CCP changes something. So there is lots of (very) old code which might be wrong because no one reported the issue/no one else had the issue/....
short: I'll have a look at it

    1st thanks
2nd No at all. It is an open source project. Everyone can check the sources -- change it,.... As far as I know it was even designed for this purpose (plugin concept). I also started using/coding Evemeep as C# training object for me (you can find lots of ugly C# coding in this application- most of it is surely done by me).

POS reaction sounds good -- as this is one Im really looking for (I just dont have time to do it). Of course it will take time until you will get write access to the project sources. But just drop me a mail and we can talk about your participation.

Did you try to click on the prices itself? --> a small edit box should appear; enter your price -- done
if you want to have your entered price saved -- check settings

. 3 pages of pi before this topic....
in industry module. the end time of jobs in list view shows my local time and the end time of jobs in timeline view shows eve gametime it seems. please synchronise.

another minor thing : in the timeline view the grey lines separating production localities are 1 job too low

    Hey grimdahl,

i have a little problem. i started evemeep today after a break of ~10 days ago again and i remark that evemepp gatehred only the journalentries of the last ~24hours, so the database is no longer consistent, because a big tradevolume is missing. is there a way how i can tell evemeep it shall gather a (one-time) complete journalupdate? or is this a limitation from ccp?

Do you see more data ingame?
Evemeep should gather all the data you can see ingame -- if there are no more data -- sorry but CCP deleted them.
This is what Evemeep can fetch from CCP:
"The journal is configured to provide up to 1536 entries or one week's worth of data, whichever is more."

i can go inagme back until the 25.08.2010 10:42. when i "delete" (correct i moved it to a save places) my evemeep-journal and let evemeep get the data vom ccp i only get the last 24hours (approx 50 entries). so i think eve meep is doing something wrong...Rolling Eyes

I'm having trouble getting this tool to work.

It won't update the API's at all, it just gives errors. I haven't used my API for over an hour and they are correctly added yet it remains blank. The program will not update itself either.

Edit: I even did a manual update of all the files... still nothing.

What is the status on EVE-MEEP?

Is it still running with you guys properly? Are you getting your stats updated? (my wallet balance does not reflect the changes but my profile is)
My Assets seems correct and the prices are correct in the solar systems.
My Standings are late being posted.
My Journal is 3 days old.

Please, let me know your status on EVE-MEEP

Looks like some calculations in "Production" are wrong,
R.A.M. usage in T2 production as example.
Tested with R.A.M. - Electronics and T2 mining crystals.
Real requirements - from 1.5% (veld) to 9.0% (merc) per run,
but Evemeep always counts as 100% (1 unit) per run.
Result - wrong material count and price calculation.

    Try running as administrator.

For me it seemed to have something to do with the add account wizard. It stopped crashing when I ran as administrator.

Hi everyone, I'm back now (not 100% yet).

CCP used my absence to modify lots of things: WalletJournalAPI, http -> https access,....

I hopefully fixed the WalletJournal with the new update.
Starting with the new update Evemeep also uses https connection to CCP.

Probably I did also some changes to TransactionsJournal (to search a specific date) before I left - but this needs some review.

    Hi there,
Both versions 3.0.1.0 and 3.1.0.0 will not work anymore due to lots of changes on CCP side.
You need to install 3.1.0.0 and update to latest versions of all plugins, EVEAPI, Core, ...

You might try to download the latest files manually from
    https://sourceforge.net/projects/evemeep/files/Latest_Files/

I cannot give much support in this case - as I have no experience with Vista -- nor any comp which is running it.

Are you working on the API changes still? I have EveMeep 3.1.0.6 and when I try to pull my personal journal it returns 50 rows and then there is a large gap to the last time I pulled data. I've tried manually running the query through the browser and I get the same result. The API seems to be ignoring rowCount and beforeID attributes. Do you have any other information?

Well according API doc http://wiki.eve-id.net/APIv2_Char_JournalEntries_XML they changed 'beforeID' to 'fromID'. I tested if I get new journal entries --- this worked pretty fast, but I did not verify if its loading more/all entries -- as the old code from Salvis looked to be OK
-> I will complete verify this functionality. Sorry for that.

No problem, I actually knew about the fromID. When I use fromID and put in the refID from the lowest entry returned on the first query I get an empty rowset.

Just downloaded EVEMEEP 3.1.0.0 and when it works properly it's a really handy little tool. I keep having issues that render the thing completely useless, though.

    1. When using the core download 3.1.0.0 the app works fine for a while. I can load characters from my API and look through assets, load industry jobs and the like just fine but when I try to manipulate the production plugin EVEMEEP just freezes up and I have to dump it through the task manager.

    2. I figured issue #1 was happening because I didn't have the latest update so I used the updater and most of the items needed downloading. The only thing I couldn't get was the updater which gave me the MD5 Checksum error that I've been reading about.

    3. I ended up downloading all of the updates except for the updater v 1.1.0.4 because of the checksum issue, and after restarting the application like it says to do EVEMEEP simply crashes before the splash screen even pops up. It gives no error message, it simply dumps. The icon pops up in the task bar and disappears when I hover my mouse over it. If I attempt to start the app multiple times then it just puts multiple icons in the task bar which all disappear in similar fashion.

I've read through the forums here and even downloaded the 3.0.0.1 version, but I get the exact same issues with that build as well. I've uninstalled, deleted, used compatability mode, administrator rights, redownloaded and reinstalled 10-12 times now and unless someone knows how to fix this I'm just going to give up on it.

I'm on an ASUS K50I Laptop running Win7 Pro 64bit.

Does any one know a workaround or fix for these issues?

Crashing before splash screen ? --- did you try to get sqlite (64bits)libs installed (it should work with the provide lib too -- but it is W7 64 bit -- so I have no idea)
Did you check your personal folders for older versions of the plugins, etc --- I had the issue W7 using old plugins even if I installed new ones

I cannot say or do something what will help you immediately -- but following things Ill start to do:
1.) delete all old -- not working versions -- so no one can try to install and setup not (anymore) working software
2.) provide a complete new version with latest plugins/files
