Ladies and Gentlemen of EVE, it is with great pleasure tonight that I present to you the results of the Pandemic Legion’s largest contract to date.

Two months ago, if someone had told me that I would be sending this report as my ship sat safely outside of the station in KFIE taking on supplies… well, I doubt anyone would have believed it. The fact is that we never expected to be in the position we are today. In my eyes, it really came down to a question of will. We were relentless in our task of seeing this contract through. Our targets really left us no other choice.

It started out simple enough – we’d give NC a hand here and there, maybe do a few Empire war decs and hope that somehow our client would be on the winning side. In the beginning, that was most certainly not a foregone conclusion. Then our priorities changed. It’s one thing to fight a war as a paid soldier, but when the war comes to your front door it changes your perceptions.

We knew that the possibility of PL’s home space being attacked existed, but the reality of it actually happening awoke something inside my alliance that is hard to describe. I am, of course, referring to the attack upon our Geminate Pos and the loss of 4 triage carriers. It awoke a sense of purpose and a terrible anger. Far from being a ‘warning to stay out of it’, the Southern Coalitions’s actions against us only lit the fires of vengeance in the eyes of PL pilots.

In less than a day, our priorities shifted. I informed our client that we would not be just ‘tagging along’. I’m not sure what Vuk and the rest expected because, to be honest, we made most of it up as we went along. Like any smart client, NC cut us loose and waited to see what would kind of return their investment would yield.

Our success is attributable to several factors, foremost in them being that the pilots of the PL believe in what we are doing in EVE. When we invaded KFIE there were no guarantees – it was us against the South and we never blinked, not once. Our commanders, our logistic teams and our pilots are simply amazing and I take my hat off to each and every one of them.

Above all else, we owe a large part our success to the corps and alliances who saw what we were doing and willingly rallied to our banner. People I’d never worked with or even spoken to put themselves fully under PL command. They put their own disputes aside and held up the ‘Alliance’ flag.

They shared the risks, the defeats (there were a few) and the victories. You need not ask who they are as most of them are now prominently displayed on Joshua and Paladin’s maps.

Victory Defined

In the last 55 days of combat operations, the PL sustained an 76.5% efficiency ratio with regard to ships. We speak not of our allies in the campaign, simply of ourselves.

Titans: 2 killed / 0 lost
Super-Carriers: 7 / 0
Carrier: 93 / 8
Dreadnought: 24 / 12

Battleship: 843 / 241
Battlecruiser: 551 / 84
Heavy Assault: 283 / 118
Strategic Cruiser: 29 / 8
Scrubships: 3118 / 1136

Motherships in Build: 2 killed / 0 lost

In 50 days the PL-led invasion of the South resulted in the takeover of 28 enemy POSSES and 2 CSAAS.

As a follow up to the above report, I am also proud to announce that a corporation we have flown with for several months and who has proven themselves time and time again are now full members of the Pandemic Legion. We welcome our German brothers in Elitist Ops [SERA] and honor them with the long awaited Joker card.

Well after spending more then few long Icelandic nights with Seleene I realised I need new merc entity, stronger then MC was ever before. After Shadoo went for a RL break cause of translation of new Harry Potter book on Finnish and Hebrew, I thought my dream will never be fullfiled.

But them miracle happened, and Shamis added me as friend on facebook. Soonish circlejerk was completed after Jogyn and Fintroll added me as neighbours in Farmville, and in Mafia wars.

Anyway after few stickam sessions we agreed on the business model we will use from now on.

Rest is history.

P.S. At least when PL fail in AT8 they can blame lack of FCs cause they were alone waging a war south all the time.

You have now just written all this to tell us that you are going to run away if IT decide to come home? Are you preparing us for the "Our job is done" post as you run off for more risk free peeveepee?

Now that I get one kill on you guys your going to pack up and leave...wtf.

Can we agree this was strictly a business relationship that could be cancelled at anytime yet still be really butt-hurt when PL form Tortuga Reloaded and invade the NC cos our trust has been 'brutally violated' and we've been 'backstabbed' somehow?

Ive heard about pirates who take on the merc trade, and then doesn't stick to the task given. You get what you pay for, and paying scum pirates will usually backfire.
However it seems in this particular case, it came to the advantage of the paying costumer.

Question!
Did you ransom the titans?

When we took this contract on we were afraid that we had bitten off more than we could chew. Fortunately our pilots rallied around us. As Jogyn said, our pilots believed in what we were doing, and i think that was reflected in the way we handled ourselves on this contract.

Hopefully on our next contract we can operate as successfully as we did on this one, and the steel fist of our passage will resonate through the pages of eve's history

I'm wondering... Considering, the only time you've met PL in game was when we jumped into a system where we were out numbered about 2:1, maybe a little higher.

Since you so desperately claim we're adverse to risk, I would have to assume that you feel we are so good that a 2:1 numbers disadvantage is in fact risk free for us, since we are that good?

See the answer to that question, no matter which way you choose to go with it isn't all that good for your argument. Either you believe that we are so good that attacking double our numbers is an automatic win for us, or your forced to admit that we in fact took a risk.

Either way you choose to go with this is ok with me. Since being smacked by a player who's corp history is a long list of achieving nothing of merit in this game, isn't as bad as you would like to think it is.

good work Jogyn, was fun flying on a few ops with you but...

your obsession with Buffy is disturbing, so you had this one coming:

Jogyn: I touch the North and it freezes me
I look on to the map and it's black
Why can't I feel?
My Nyx should cr@ck and peel
I want the fire back.

Now, through the comms they call to me
To make my way across the flame
To save the day or maybe melt away
I guess it's all the same

So, I will fly through the fire
'Cause where else can I turn?
I will fly through the fire
And let it-

BLAST: The torch I bear is scorching me
Jogyn's laughing I've no doubt
I hope she fries
I'm free if that b.itch dies - I better help her out...

IT: 'Cause she is drawn to the fire
Some people never learn
BLAST(joining): She will never learn
BLAST & IT: And she will fly through the fire

And let it-

Vuk Lau: Will this do a thing to change her?
Am I leaving Tribute in danger?
Have my Mercenaries too far gone to care?
Fred0: What if Jogyn can't defeat it?
Panda Team & C0VEN: Beady Eyes is right
We're needed!
Or we could just sit docked and stare
Chorus: We'll see it through

It's what we're always here to do
So, we will fly through the fire...

Jogyn: So one by one, they turn from me
I guess my Allies can't face the cold

Morsus Mihi: What can't we face...
Jogyn: But why I froze, not one among them knows

Morsus Mihi: ...if we're together?
Jogyn: And never can be told

C0VEN: She came from the clone grave much graver
Panda Team: First, they'll pod her, then I'll save her
C0VEN: Everything is turning out so dark

Jogyn: Going through the motions
C0VEN: No, I'll save her, then I'll kill her
Razor Alliance: I think this line is mostly filler

Vuk Lau: What's it going to take to strike a spark?

Jogyn: These endless days are finally
Ending in a blaze

Chorus: And we are caught in the fire
The point of no return
So we will fly through the fire
And let it
Burn
Let it burn
Let it burn
Let it burn!

Its funny that your relentless smack of PL has resulted into admitting, in a round about way, that we are really good at this game.

As you your self have pointed out, jumping into that gang at a 4:1 disadvantage would have been a win for us, which would lead anyone to the conclusion that we are damn well good at what we do.

As you have pointed out so many times, we are very risk adverse, so by your own logic, we are
also so very good that even when being heavily out numbered our PVP is also riskless.

See how your brainless smack can come back and bite you. Anyway keep trolling CAOD I'm sure eventually someone might listen to you. After all, you've been in so many corps in your year and an half in eve that have accomplished so much no one can doubt that you know whats going on.

Or, depending on perspective: successfully intentionally blue-balling enemy fleets that had to rush home, damaging morale, and diverting attention. Finally withdrawing with mission success when IT has to return home with damaged relations among their former allies, and a political victory by the North while you go on with your chest thumping tribal display. Im sure you are so important you were featured highly when factored into Pandemic Legions calculations.

Depending on perspective. Wink

Its funny how your spin only starts from after you lost your space but for IT there stats will start from when they started to take space from you.

Just saying, you are taking a win from a massive loss, after all, they will make that Isk back easly enough with all the moon dropping you no longer take.

By all means take a victory from your failures, I know goons do.
