Hey guys for a couple of days ive been playing with it on sisi. I have a couple of questions that hopefully you guys can help me with or give aditional info :)
1) Do any of my planet stuffs need to link up with my CC? (command center)
2) Are these minerals able to be mined in 6hours? just wondering as it seems quick... also can i just mine them then shoot them up and sell them in empire raw like moon minerals?
3) ok so when im mining on this gas planet, i am mining ionic solutions, so thats all good and i link it up with my storage facility and thats working all good however when it comes to the processors the advanced one is wanting Camera drones, nuclear reactors and hermetic membrains. How do i get that?
the only one that will produce stuff thats on the planet is the basic one.
4) last but not least just so i know im doing this right can someone pls tell me what is meant to link to what as im not sure if im doing it right.

Some of these might be a bit advanced for this planet stuff at the current situation. im not sure :)

Splinter, you may want to take a look in the 'Test Server Feedback' forum. Last time I looked there was some info there.

Other than that I am a little behind on my PI research (was on holiday last week) so I am not sure how far forward it is on Sisi... but I do know is that CCP will probably be changing things around before the release so the Sisi people don't have too much of a head start.

I believe there will be a function to deliver items to your planet for things you don't want to (or can't) make yourself.

Of course if you want to receive what you're mining.

There may be higher yields out there who knows? I wonder if CCP would give us a theoretical maximum, or you could try using fewer extractors :D

I don't think the advance stuff has been released yet? Unless they're new npc materials lol, perhaps they're rarest and limited to low and null sec systems?

excavators >> Either Storage facility or a processor with a viable output >> Either a (usually third) processor to take in two (or three) items from the previous two processors to complete a finished ex NPC item. Route the manufactured items to the storage/processor or command control to launch it in to space and get it on the market.

1 the link to the command center is only for transorting the goods off the planet to to a trade center that will be somewhere on the planetary trades market.

2 the mining will vary from deposit to deposit when you scan for resources in the harvester. youl want to first ship the items to a storage facility then to a factory the finished goods to another storage facility then another factor or the command center for tranbsport.

each item the advanced factory needs is made from the planetary factories. like T2 minerals there is a basic reaction. then and advanced reaction, then an assembly reaction. some items may take several levels of each component to complete. youl be able to moves goods from one planet to another as most planets will not have all items needed for the final roducts. and some reactions create polution that affect the harvesters and factory reactions so you may want to do finaly assembly on a planet that does not have anything on it worth harvesting. radioactives and nuclear reacters for example.

you will be able to trade and sell items between different people on the same planet and after shipping offworld onto other planets or the eve markets.

the link is creatng a road for items to be shiped on from one location to another. each level opf upgrade on the road wll allow for a certain amount of traffic. routing is setting trucks {traffic} along that road. transporting goods from one location to another.

like pos's each command center has a finite amount of power and cpu to run harvesters factories roads etc. each person can only have one command center per planet. with the last patch the command center could run 15 structures. 9 harvesters in groups of 3. 3 basic factories to concentrate base minerals. a storage facility, command center and spaceport. i was unable to run more. this will change for future patches and will be different in the final release.
