I was playing around with EFT earlier, and used the character editor to set my Sharpshooter and Trajectory Analysis skills both to V to see what my max range would be with my blasters. EFT told me that my max range with blasters + Sharpshooter V + Trajectory Analysis V would be 18km optimal + 13km falloff.

Okay, sounds good.

Later, with the same fit, I wanted to check something else, so I switched from using my character to the "all skills set to 5" setting.

And with all skills set to 5, my optimal jumped to 21km.

And I cannot for the life of me figure out which skill is giving me the extra 3km of optimal.

Tracking Computers also give a bonus to optimal and can be scripted to give even more.

Trajectory Analysis IV gives you the ability to fit a T2 Tracking Comp.
