The first two jumps i didn't load grid and had to restart the client, but after that was pretty smooth, no module lag either.
The FPS dropped to 10-20 during the fight but was manageable.

Which test: September 2nd at 20:00
OS Version: Linux 64 bit.
CPU: intel E8300
GPU: ATI HD4850
RAM: 6GB

Audio enabled: Yes
Brackets on: No
Average fps: 10fps
Desync: Yes, once going in to warp

Performance: Fairly good. Ship and modules reacted quite fast even though there where some lag.

Extra notes: Had a 30s freezed screen at one point but that may have been when the log server bugged out.

Machine info:
OS Version : Windows 7 64bit Pro
CPU : Q6700 Quad Core Intel
GPU : 250 GTS
RAM : 8GB

User Experience
Audio Enabled: Eve Voice & Alerts Only.
Brackets : Off
Average FPS : 35-40
Comparison of FPS TQ/SiSi : 5

Feedback:
I feel that things went well, had no sync loss on module activation this time, flight was very responsive, changing direction, entering warp etc, but jumping at gates was still slow, had "Traffic control" on all jumps times up to 2:45 Mins
Battle was very responsive, had effects turned off.

Suggestion:
For logistics to be able to see only fleet members would be good on overview settings.

I never encountered something comparable to TQ lag. Was able to jump (in capital and later in bs) and to load grid with little delay ; modules and drones worked fine.
Had brackets on but effects off. all effects off during the fight.

I have a 30mo LogServer RAR archive for nearly 3 hours of testing I would give you.

Carry on guys.

before fight - 4
during fight - 1. NB. I don't usually get into such busy grids on TQ, so it's not really a fair comparison

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.
Jumping went well, not much difference between spamming the jump button and not.
orbiting worked first time each time
jumped into fight and client just froze on 0.0fps.
Evemail from SSC came through without any delay, and Eve-voice had no delay either.
90 minutes of non-response and a few gb of logserver later, I killed the client because it thought my pod was fitted with 350mm rails...

rating of one to ten- 10, best fps ive had in a long time, no mod lag and decent grid load.

User Experience

* I did have audio enabled and it seemed to work well enough. I could hear commands from the FC.

* Brackets turned on? I assume that means the square ship indicator icon. Yes they were on.

* Sitting still I got about 10-12fps on the low end and zoomed out I gout 38-45fps. Once the fighting started fps varied anywhere from 0.3fps to 5fps if I was zoomed out.

* Desyncs? Not entirely sure what it means, but I did experience some delay in the activation of my modules. It was never as bad as some of the horror stories I've heard. The longest delay was 10 seconds.

* I'm afraid I have no comparison on TQ because I've never been in a fleet fight anywhere near that size. I can however rate my expectation and I'd give it an 8 for being way cool and better than I expected. I set realistic expectations.

* Overall my experience was pretty good. There was a lot of down time while the Devs were figuring things out but I assume that's par for the course and part of helping. I'm very pleased that CCP has been making it easier to get ready for. The biggest hurdle for me now is that this last time fell right in the middle of a work day and I had to call in sick. I think it was worth it because I've been trying to join the tests for a couple years now and I was finally able to make it happen.

All you guys who showed up for the mass test and every one at CCP this beer is for you. Cheers.

There were periodical FPS hiccups during every arrival or depart of any ship as it seem that overview was busy sorting them out. Desync was not present during the test, but in the fleet battle there was delay between reaction of modules, commands and their consequent actions.
Got "Grid not loaded" issue during the test, so sending log in a sec. ;)

Variable. 60 FPS when in warp or looking at empty space. Drop to under 5 FPS if looking at the bulk of the ships present, or in battle.

On the first jump, my client did not load any ships, stargate, and the overview did not show any items. I couldn't warp anywhere, and had to restart the client to resolve.

•On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome)
N/A. Have not been in a large fleet on TQ.

•Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.
It makes me cautious about getting into any large fleet battles on the TQ server. I wouldn't want to lose my ship because my client didn't load properly.
There was some confusion about how people got into the two fleets.

Haven't been to blobs this dimension yet on TQ, but would say 3.
Yet, comparing to the previous mass test I was in: 7.

* Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.:
Compared to the previous mass test I was in, it was generally better - but might also be because of getting used to the procedures.
How to enter a fleet should be noted in big letters in the main thread I guess (enter corresponding channel, possibly showing purpose of fleet in MOTD, raise hand there to join and so forth.) - new ones still fail that test ;)

Joining and handling of EVE-voice was much better compared to last time as well.

I had no long delays for warping or jumping (< 20 sec), but that might be because I was always with the 'first' wave of jumpers, i.e., pressing buttons right on command in chat.

The only thing that stuck out to me was entering and leaving a field, which was slow. It felt like the overview list was behind and updating it caused the client to run slow.

Thanks as well for the SP boost :)

Won't rate anymore since the last large-scale fight on TQ I had was too long ago.

* Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.
Gate jumps mostly happened 30-60 seconds after command and in two or three spam-jump cases were accompanied by 'Traffic Control' notice.
Jump from MHC-R3 to F67E-Q around 20:43 EVE time ended with missing grid. At 20:51 grid were still not loaded, but there were some weird wave-like FPS fluctuations, though I didn't see anything besides empty space.
During the fight there was a severe CPU/FPS lag, when everything froze completely at times. Modules and drones responded normally, though. But like the last time, ships that had once been engaged by my drones remained with the drone icon near the locked target icon no matter what drones actually did/engaged.
Perhaps it was the Logserver that overused CPU resources (eventually crashing), as during the previous fight with close pilot numbers everything went rather smoothly.
P.S. A bit less voice and text spam in fleet chat would be nice. Confused

Logfile starting from relog after grid loading failure and ending with Logserver crash near the end of the fight. Mass-test_2-3.09.2010.rar

I found this test very laggy to the point where it became unplayable. Graphics were turned down to the bare minimum however this didnt improve the performance. I also found that on one occasion I jumped the gate and appeared on the other side without the ship and couldnt move, as if frozen mid jump. This required a reboot of EVE. I also found on one occasion there was a socket close but to be honest for this to happen only once during this level of test was kinda impressive. Hopefully my serverlog will be of use to you.

NO

On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ?
5, except the last JITA test was better

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.
The "jumps" were fine, overview/grid loaded nearly instantly. Had 2 client crashes and 1 disconnect (jumped while disconnected).
The last battle in x-bv was therrible, unresponsive, and it took me 30sec-1min to die/load the pod.

Worked fine without brackets.
With brackets no frames at all, screen went black several times.
However, missile launchers got stuck once and even did not unlock during warp-off. Worst thing ever, did not have that on TQ yet.

When showing info on a random ship, it failed to load ship description and pilot icon. also, the pilot icon was not clickable. trying again on the same ship worked.
