they are not the only ones to break Windows XP with a patch:

I'm running XP and haven't noticed any issues. Heck I've only BSOD'd once years ago.

Maybe it's 'cause I'm running x64?

Who knows, maybe I'm just lucky...

<- lucky person NOT affected by either the "bootini incident" (and yes, I did use that EVE patch when it did break other's machines) nor the latest "patch BSOD" (yes, I had those 11 updates yesterday too).

Unfortunately, I was affected by this 'BSOD patch' crash. However, all I did was reboot my system and it started just fine.
