You bought one Barrage M yesterday, then a few hours later a character with no posting history at all pops up to sell Barrage M, which you immediately bid on.

I am interested in bidding, but... it certainly looks suspiciously like you are trying to up the price on your own merchandise.

Any comments from either of the chars?

you can make say 20k ammo per day, profit on each 5k batch looks to be around 600k isk (just a rough market check) which leaves this at 2.5m/day = 910m/year profit.
how do you justify the price tag? or have i missed something?

I have no connections with the bidder mentioned, however, the catalyst for my sale was seeing the other BPO being sold.
As for its value, I won't comment, please keep this thread to bids only.

This would be another T2 BPO purchase that would be perfectly in line with your last two.

At a POS under those research levels, approximately 600k units/mo. Cost to produce in the range of 50 ISK per (not having total material costs I'm basing this off of a similar BPO). Current overall market is in the 250-300 range, netting conservatively 200/unit profits, or approximately 120m in profits if it all sells with that margin.

Thus over 12 months that's about 1.4b - general 3y ROI would then be in the area of 4.3b

If I had the ISK, tho, I'd add it to my collection just to have it. :)

your looking at empire prices. if you produce the ammo in empire. and ship it to 0.0 you can sell for double the empire price.

You don't need a BPO for that. Just buy the ammo in empire and ship it to 0.0. The additional profit does not come from producing but from hauling.

Given that the current status on the forums is that the auction is over with my bid of 10B the highest, I'm expecting to hear from the seller soon.

Original post was edited to set a 10.5B reserve price and extends the auction date by 2 more days.

To be honest, this feels like an artificial way of milking more ISK out of the BPO due to x10 offering a buyout after the auction ended. Since no reserve had been posted, it allowed the seller to continue his auction and get more ISK.

For now, I'm retracting my bids.
