Ok, so I am confused tbh. I read different things in different threads about Sig Res and Sig Radius...numbers being thrown about, formulas to follow, etc etc. Honestly guys and gals, it all just has my brain aching trying to remember which is what and why it does what it does.
May I please get a reply, in, heh, redneck American terminology, what role these 2 items have with my ship. Other ships. Just baby step me into knowing wtf its all about, lol.
My particular game play has been, almost since I started playing EVE, an explorer. Ive had my share of lost ships and atmosphere of EVE, hehe. I have recently made the move down to "sneaking" around in low sec and null, checking stuff out, scanning and probing. Ive been pretty good at it and at times, get to have some fun with the locals as they try to scan me down...kinda like cat and mouse, cops n robbers type thing. Its fun stuff.
I had read somewhere in these forums, but damned if I can find it again...there was a discussion about Sig Res, Sig Rad..if one is larger than the other, you are virtually invisable, but the other way around, are scannable depending on the difference of those 2 numbers.
Anyone got a good, plain jane, cut thru the chase, unscientific math jumbo mumbo (lol) way of telling me what im looking at and want to keep an eye on while fitting my ship please
I put this thread here instead of ships n modules cause I wasnt actually talking about either really...
