I've had the petitions that took 2 weeks to answer but with EvE Online that has never been followed with the "we apologize for the inconvenience but it's not something we can fix". While I'm sure there ARE some issues they can't fix it's never hit ME yet.

The most recent was a billing error and my petition was responded to very quickly and the issue resolved immediately. CCP has impressed me with their customer support several times and I wanted to post here to let them know that I am very happy with the GMs right now.

I just got done with a petition that took over 2 weeks. I left the game in May of last year. I tried to re-sub like 2 weeks ago and it said I was banned. I made a trial account and sent in a petition. A week later they said they might be able to give my account back but that I needed to answer some questions to prove I owned the account.

Now the thing is, when I left Eve, I had never done anything to be banned. So I got banned AFTER I quit. Anyways after answering thier questions, it took another week, where they finally told me that my account had been accessed by a foreign IP, and they banned the account to prevent any further damage to it.

I logged into it today, and not a single thing is gone. Everything is right where I left it. But my payment history shows that someone subbed my account in June and July of last year and that after that a ban was put in place.

So apparently, a hacker subbed my account for 2 months, stole nothing, earned me no money, trained no skills and left everything exactly where I left it. There is no one that knows my account info, so it couldnt be a friend that did it....none of my friends like Eve anyways lol. Seems very odd.

Anyways Im happy to have my account back for which I thank Senior GM Hugins.....altho I wish it hadnt taken 2+ weeks to solve.

There's nothing odd about that. The hacker never got a chance to RMT away all your ISK and reprocessed your stuff (and sell your character, which you wouldn't have gotten back).

Be very very glad they banned your account so quickly.

Twist! But really, stuck petitions and billing petitions are answered pretty fast, the rest.....are subject to the dreaded queue.

I guess I have been very lucky with petitions...the few I have made have been answered really quickly.

No problems at all with customer support.

But it IS odd because my subscription history shows that AFTER I quit in May 2009, someone subbed my account in June and then again in July...then it got banned in august. So someone from "a foreign IP" subbed my account 2 months in a row, stole NOTHING, and trained up a few of my skills. Then got banned.

I know that sounds crazy dude, but believe me when I say that I have never bought isk, nor have I ever shared my name and pass with a friend, in or out of game. Believe me, altho at first I was totally bummed about this, it has turned out to be the best hacking experience I have ever recieved.

the people who handle petitions are great from my experience

however on the forums all I will say is bring back mitnal :(
