As i have recently developed a love for suicide ganking. Honestly if your worried about loosing money while suicide ganking then jump back in your miner and mine veld.

I must say it is rather sad that when im not suicide ganking but moving **** around on my hauler alt the risk of moving in high sec seems rather higher then moving around in low sec / 0.0.

Does anyone else feel this way?
Hell i saw a freighter suicide km yesterday.

Improve Concord's response time, CCP. Or introduce a no insurance money if you get killed by Concord policy.

All I am seeing here from the miners is "cry cry cry, I got killed in high sec, my Hulk/Retriever was destroyed".

We don't expect you to agree with the Hulkageddon purpose, infact we are counting on you not agreeing with it.

I see viability in sui ganking year round realistically. This character is an alt which takes 2 days to train to Sui Ganking, I might have to buy ships, weapons, and ammo, but my industrial main takes care of that and insurance helps soften the blow.

Yes, Yes. I am an industrial main. So why the Sui Ganking?
It's fun, it's in the spirit of the game's purpose (realistic space warfare), and I am sick of lowering prices because the ore market is flooded and more so sick of macro miners forcing the cost of minerals down.

I'm not a miner and I'm not crying. Just stating my opinions. Thankyou.

I would still suicide even if i didn't get insurance back.

Most ships you suicide are worth 100-500 mill on average (at least in my experience)

The ship cost of the a ship to gank said hauler is usually between 30-35 mill. When you have a few billion breaking a few 35 mill isk eggs is worth waiting for a good pay out.

Thanks for all the replies folks. I didn't intend this to be a miner vs ganker thread but some of the posts answered my question well. SOME ships return a small profit when suicided. And then the possible loot from the miners wreck and salv can make the profit even higher.

I have a miner alt that is flying a t1 fitted covetor at the moment. If the ships dies I make a small loss and drop loot of small value. I have been suicided a few times in it and I wondered (as there are no specific prizes in Hulkageddon for killing covetors) why people where bothering. In the end I guess the answer is that there are few targets in my system any more and so the gankers will just take what they can get.

It is no big deal for me either way. I built 5 covetors after I lost my mackinaw (didn't know hulkageddon was on) and have used them since.

SO yeah, thanks for the replies! It has been a good read.
