ex: Kinetic Armor Compensation
I was a little confused over what exactly the skills did. I know they raise your resistance to each type of damage. However in the text it seems to sugest that only ship fitted with armour harders would get the bonus. Is this correct?
For instance would a vessel with say energised plating recieve any bonus?
Also the skill text says for active armour hardeners they get the bonus only when not active?

If anyone could clear things up for me that would be great.

it's a bonus to passive hardeners, or to active hardener's that are not active
With my skills (all armor comps at V) T2 active Hardeners go from 55% (active) 1% (inactive) to 55%(active) 15% (inactive) and T2 Energized Membranes go from 37.5% to 46.875%

The following things *do* get bonuses from the compensation skills:

Energized plating
Resistance plating
Inactive active armour hardeners

The following *do not* get bonuses from the compensation skills:

Damage controls
Active hardeners that are activated
Ships with no resistance modifying modules fitted
