This ship has become the rarest thing in game for ships since the gaurdian vexor. It can't be bought on contracts as there are none available, and the ones that are went from 500 million to 1 billion in a months time. Its a first teir bs costing 1 billion? Do you understand how ridiculous that is. Put this ship on regular agents or its going to become lost and forgotten memory.

only if they put gold and silver magnates on normal agents too...

Umm..no?

This is incentive for people to go do FW missions (you get Navy Domi from FW right?). It's finally a reason to do them. And of course there aren't any, they weren't released very long ago and people need to go grind lp to buy them. :P Let the prices stabilize a bit, give it a few months.

Nah. It's nice to have something that's rare, but still entirely obtainable in the game. Want one? Go get one.

Ahahahaha no wait ahaahahaha
No but seriously, not the "put rarer things on the mildly rare thing purchase roster" bit again. This was old hat the FIRST time someone tried it (which was probably at least two years before I even joined the game.) Evil or Very Mad

Eve requires unique and ultra-rare stuff as part of its identity. Not every player should be able to access every item, or at least not without involving themselves in something more complex than "grind horse**** (x 10000000 tons.)" Just sayin.

Sounds like some carebear gallente empire mission runners are getting jealous and angry over not being able to spend all that risk free lp they have grinded over the years on a popular faction ship.

/me puts another navy domi up on contracts wrecking for lulz overkill profits. Twisted Evil

One billion for a faction battleship? Where's the problem?

I agree with the jist of the OPs ramble.

Tier 1 faction battleships should be available from the same agents that tier 2 faction battleships are available from. Whichever dev thought making this FW LP only needs a kick in the fork.

Oh, and FW is silly.

What part of some faction ships/equipment only being available from faction agents doesn't make sense to you?

Corban, your going to have to try harder big guy.

I never said it didn't make sense, I said it was silly. Because FW sucks, relatively few people are in it, thus making the number of tier1 faction BSs available negligible.

If CCP actually thought this idea up with the intention of sucking more people into FW, they're going to be sorely disappointed.

I'm not too butthurt, as my lv4 alt is loldari, and CNRs are readily available.

Corban Bernsen's a good actor, btw.

Barrier to entry of FW is very low. If prices go up, more people will join Gallente and go mission for LP. There is an unlimited supply of them available, so no real barriers exist, just market forces. Perhaps Navy Domi's are more in demand than Navy Scorps?

I bought mine at 591m, which was a steal at the time, as they were about 630m+ in Jita. The issue, of course, is that the Dominix is the de facto Gallente mission boat, so the Navy Dominix is now the most coveted ship amongst carebears who fly Gallente boats. With a limited number being sold by FW pilots, the demand far exceeds the supply. Working as intended, really.

For those who truly want one, I'm told that FW missions hand out LP like candy, and these battleships only cost 125k LP (roughly 5-8 Lv 4 FW missions). Frankly, FW missions are the new ISK printing machine, and anyone willing to do them (I'm told they're quite easy) can easily get rich selling the Navy Dominix and Navy Armageddon. You could also very quickly flip the astronomical LP returns into faction frigates, which sell faster and sometimes at a better ISK:LP ratio.

In any event, these ships don't need to be available through the standard agents. It would be nice, but the whole premise is to provide an incentive for FW, whether players actually want to participate in the war or simply make a fortune by selling exclusive FW merchandise to people who won't participate in the war.

FW doesn't suck and there are plenty of people in it. It was never meant to get more people to join FW. If you had been paying any attention you would know that FW people wanted a reward, something unique to FW and they got it.

Quit whining, your troll is terrible 0/10.

Indeed.

The thing is if you run fw missions you are just as big a pvp target as anyone else due to gatecamps and the lurvely fact that when you warp to the mission it lights a beacon that anyone can and will warp to and try to pwn you. Also all missions are at least 10 jumps one way deep into enemy lowsec regardless if the agent is in high sec or not so fw participation is pretty much mandatory when you get locked up and pointed. Twisted Evil

Leave the Navy Domi where it is and remove the Navy Megathron from the ordinary agent's lists. That'll make things consistent.

As compensation, take the Navy drones away from the faction agents and put them on the ordinary lists.

There, fixed.
