Ok just got done looking into this.
1) Our pilot was unaware of the 1v1 going on.
2) He landed on the gate unaware of what was going on but saw reds fighting
3) He got locked
4) He returned lock and pointed the person who locked him but held fire. (TBH I suspect he only held fire due to the target dying quickly, I sure wouldn't have held fire if someone locked me first.)
5) Person who locked him died to the other targets.
6) After the target died he joined the fleet with the others and they went on to get a few kills in lowsec.

Simple as that.

Protip: If you're going to 1v1, don't do it on a gate, will prevent things like this in future. TBH best to do 1v1 at a safe.

Just as a refernce: Noir. doesn't generally do 1v1 but if we know of them or if one of our pilots accepts one we honor them.

actually I think(may have to check) have fraps to prove he locked me first and was sitting at the gate with the "bros" when I arrived.

if you honestly believe that he just happened to get invited, you are not intelligent at all. Confused

I didn't go blinky either, there would have been no reason for him to take gate guns in an interceptor.

As I was trolling the local Amamake pirate killboards, I saw that km. Then I saw his QQ. Glad I trained intelligence to 4, cause I put those two dots together.

Per our in-game conversation I will review logs from both you and CaptainBro to confirm who's story is true.

Thank you.

I like how an ex-Broksi who joined your corp was "unaware" that some Broskis were killing someone. I also see the logic in tackling someone on a gate while others/"unknowns" are fighting giving yourself agression timer so you can't jump to safety if the aggressors would decide to attack you...

Yeah he just happened to be there purely by coincidence, but had no idea what was going on with all these people on the gate. UNACCEPTABLE.

Let's review the facts.

1) Jared isn't ******ed enough to engage at a gate in a rupture and get a GCC.
There's no sentry guns on the killmail (that would probably have been a giveaway yeah?)

2) Guy was in Broski Enterprises for a while.

3) Guy has a brofist in his bio.

So Jared is obviously fighting without a GCC (or not at a gate) and this pilot who has obvious ties to the main fleet just happens to end up there while a bunch of bros are dishonouring a 1v1?

That anyone would believe that **** is laughable at best. Seriously, use your brain.

Worth noting I'm p sure Jared isn't having a "BAWWW KILLED IN LOSEC" rant. From his kb he solos there pretty often and has a track record of kills and losses without making "bawww" threads.

I figure this thread is full of ******s or alts.

this whole thing is pretty lol. Any attempts to protect CaptainBRO further tarnish the reputation Aleks built. Noir. has lost any respect I previously had for them and Taram has shown he is an incapable leader.

tl;dr:

tbh Taram is really looking like a pretty big retard in this thread.

"But guys he told me that he didn't know! He swore on his e-honour and everything!"

Let's examine the facts that Taram has been so kind as to completely ignore.

1. Jared D'Uroth (-1.7 sec status) agrees to 1v1 Kahvegi (-9.9 sec status) on a gate. Jared agresses first, so nobody takes sentry fire.

2. 1v1 is dishonoured Vindicator blah blah etc. is warped in to the fight.

3. "Neutral" Noir. Stiletto with a corp history that indicates that he was in the same corp as the 1v1 dishonourers arrives on the gate and sees 4+ GCC guys engaging 1 non-GCC guy.

4. He then decides to go GCC on a lowsec gate in a Stiletto because the 1 non-GCC guy locked him?????

Lets run through that again. He sees 4 GCC guys on a gate and decides to agress himself (by going GCC in an inty no less) in the middle of a pirate blob.

5. He then pleads innocence, claiming he wasn't flying with his former corpmates of 5 months.

6. Taram Caldar, having clearly reviewed all the facts very carefully, buys into his air-tight cover story???

Words cannot describe how baffled I am by Taram's reaction to what should be a clear-cut case.

Oh, and I completely overlooked the fact that the pilot in question continued roaming with the same people for over an hour after this kill.

How fast can you backpedal, Taram?

Honestly if I warped to a gate and saw some of my ex-corpmates engaging someone on a gate and I was in a stiletto I would point the guy real quick then fly away but hey I'm a killmail *****. Who wouldn't do it though? Plus if you did do it then started talking to some friends you could end up flying with them for old times sake. It has happened to me a couple times and its a game why not fly with some old friends its not really that big of a deal. Of course this could all be bull but who knows its one persons word against anothers.

All I'll say at this point is re-read my reply to Jared.
It's under investigation. I'm still gathering data to compare. Once I have it we'll deal with whatever the outcome is.

I also find Karia's post pretty silly considering he was there (in the convo) when I had Jared send me logs and specifically told him I'd be looking further into the issue after he and I had talked.

Feel free to troll in the meantime... It's actually pretty amusing.

Update:
This has been dealt with.

Pilot in question did not turn over his logs when requested and instead pontificated about why he didn't understand how it really all mattered. In light of the fact that a direct request for in-game logs was ignored and, instead, a 100 word post pontificating on why he thinks this is all silly was sent I have opted to remove the offending pilot from Noir.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to continue to investigate a case where the pilot, who is still in his first 11 days with the corp, cannot comply with a simple request for his combat logs and local chat logs.

Something tells me that NOIR's CEO should look into who's taking care of any issues that arise, because that person clearly isn't up to the standards people expect from a Merc corp that has worked hard to get and keep it's (earned) reputation.

During Christmas weekend:
  1. Issue is brought up

  2. Issue is investigated

  3. Issue is dealt with
Those are higher standards and a more speedy resolution than you'll get at 99% of RL services. If you feel this leaves anything to be desired, you're out of touch.

Issue is brought up, NOIR representative states that it's under investigation but due to holidays it's going to take a bit. That's a very reasonable stance and if that representative would have been smart he'd have left it at that till he/or someone who knows what he's doing has had the chance to look at it. Simple mail to the OP stating "can't help you right now, we'll get in contact when the guy in charge is back" should suffice.

Instead said representative either somehow believed the obvious bullcrap story the ex-broski came up with or he tried to cover it up, I'm still trying to figure out which is worse. Deal with things properly or don't deal with them at all, especially not in public. I really can't understand you're defending your rep's actions.

1. Did the guy get a refund, or is this more about Noir. and less about honor? (again)
2. Does anyone in Noir. have 'fun' or is it all professional ehonoring and forum image maintenance?
3. Will the offending bro ever ever find another home in eve or is there no 'life after Noir. boot.'?
4. Can Noir. hide the wanton pirating that sustains their meager kb stats behind the curtain any longer?
5. Will the bitter ex-Noir. fanboi club ever band together and form it's own corp? (Eager.Fanboi.Noir. is open)
6. Will neutral rr ever be fixed?
7. Will Taram ever figure out that the posters of crime and punishment continue to manipulate him via his overly large ego?

Please dear readers, I need to know.
