Edit: using Eset AV software atm. without any reported problems.
Edit2: May I suggest that you host your app on Softpedia for example? They are running anti virus/trojan/spyware/mallware checks on software they host. You can submit the software there for free. That would certainly remove any doubts about false positives. |

Thanks for suggestion. I'll do that in the near future. |

And open myself up to a lawsuit for de-compiling your "private" code without your written consent? No thanks. I know the rules of the software industry. My anti virus said it detected a backdoor in the exe, and that is why I'm requesting source, because I want to find out if it was a false positive or not. As it is I had to delete that Virtual Machine because I cant trust it now. |

I didn't propose to decompile. There are a lot of indirect and legal methods. Originally by: John'eh

I've checked both exe files with dozens of different AVs and there is no issues. EVEMentat.exe check resultevemarketordersfromcache.exe check resultAnd asking you once more (in bold for better perception): where are your concrete facts with concrete names? |

Like I said, I have delete that VM so no longer have access to its data. Why ask questions when I have already given you the answer?
Besides, its common knowledge in the industry that heavy obfuscation can fool some virus detection software. You have admitted that you use heavy obfuscation.
I'm just saying "hey I want your blessing/source to look at this", I'm not accusing you of anything yet. And if I'm wrong, you get a nice guy like me saying your ok with that version. Its a win-win. |

Nice, you are going to check "don't remember what" in sources :) Originally by: John'eh Besides, its common knowledge in the industry that heavy obfuscation can fool some virus detection software. You have admitted that you use heavy obfuscation.
Admitted and substantiated. Originally by: John'eh I'm just saying "hey I want your blessing/source to look at this", I'm not accusing you of anything yet. And if I'm wrong, you get a nice guy like me saying your ok with that version. Its a win-win.
Don't have any proofs are you nice guy or not... I'm going to make official verification with professional and authoritative organization. BTW blessing you don't use this tool until official verification. |

Edited by: Jarbis Leed on 14/02/2011 06:36:40 Edited by: Jarbis Leed on 14/02/2011 06:34:56 Just downloaded this (v1.0.12.234), and it looks like an awesome tool. I was wondering though if there is a way to specifically look at just the orders (buy or sell) that have already cleared -- so if I'm market testing a wide variety of goods, I can quickly see what's already sold out.
*edit*
Looks like this feature was added as of the latest alpha version (1.1.10.476) -- awesome! Also, import from cache, super handy.
The only thing I can see now that would improve this program would be a way to filter character orders by date (say, only look at orders of all types from the last 3, 7, 30 days, etc); and a way to set a jump range for the market order checker -- ie, I could set it to only inform me if someone within X number of jumps under/overbid me, rather than the whole region.
Top notch program! Keep up the good work! |

Thanks for all your work!
You can use status filter tool button (orders tab) to show already fulfilled orders. But it is not exactly what you want. I'm going to implement feature "Orders history" in future. You are free to raise up priority of this task with donation. |

You can specify such ranges in options: stantion, solar system, whole region. Currently it is impossible to specify custom distance, and I don't plan to do that soon. |

Edited by: Jarbis Leed on 14/02/2011 07:13:54 (In regards to v1.1.10.476) So I see how to sort by a single station or system within the Market browser tab, and how to filter by those when looking at all Character orders... but I think I'm missing where the options menu is to filter the Market orders box (within the Character orders tab) by station/sys/region, to affect what shows up in red as overridden in the window above.
Not that its particularly hard to sort the market order list by price, then look with my own two eyes and see if any of the undercutting prices in my same station and/or system. I'm just not sure if this is a (minor) feature request/whining about colors, or if I'm just not looking in the right place for the options menu.
Thanks for the quick reply, and awesome work! |

Hmm, Market tab has possibility to select multiple locations (use Ctrl+Click on stations, systems, regions) and advanced filter. Market tab under character orders shows only market with concurent orders for selected character orders (for the range specified in the options). And I don't plan to implement filtering here. By the way you can right click on character orders and press "view market details" to swith to market of this position. |

Not sure if anyone suggested this yet, but, one thing that might be super useful is sorting the items by type like they are sorted in the market. |

Thanks for your previous replies. I keep coming back for more though :)
Is there a way to show only character orders by date, like there is for transactions? Or a way to use the filter to show a range of dates to achieve the same effect? It would be nice to look at just a set chunk of time, and knock the orders -730d old off the list :)
Along the same lines, is there a variable/"wild card" character for the filter? (ie, filter by 2/*/2011 to see orders from February)
Thanks! |

Upcoming feature "Order history" should cover your use cases. Also I'm going to extend filtering with regular expressions in future. |

Currently I'm not sure is it EULA violation or not. Especially for that much number of orders. Can you help me investigate this? |
