Change your thread title and use google for once...

POSTED TODAY > http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=51647

Quote:
Hello, last night, avast had a bad false positive issue. At around 12:15am GMT we released VPS update 091203-0 which started flagging hundreds of innocent files as a "Win32:Delf-MZG" Trojan (or, in less common cases, as "Win32:Zbot-MKK"). Among the files affected were high-profile programs produced by Adobe, Realtek sound card drivers, various media players etc.

Quote:
If you're still using the bad VPS (091203-0) we recommend to invoke a VPS update immediately.

I think you have a false positive, I have scanned the file with AVG, Spybot search and destroy and malwarebytes anti-malware, everything scans clean. It's also possible the executable is infected, but was done so by something already on your computer. just some thoughts.

As previously mentioned, change the thread title as the current title is misleading. Either a false positive or you got a virus from somewhere else, but after using EFT for years I can say that it is extremley unlikley that EFT itself would contain a virus by design.

It's true. At night EFT authors log your character to talk dirty on local.

Did you guys realize that each time you add another "OMGWTF EDIT TEH TITLE" this thread goes back to the top?

May I introduce you to the revolutionary concept of letting a thread die out?

I always suspected EFT.

This would explain a lot of hackings.

Although I can neither confirm or deny since I never used EFT out of paranoia (or any EVE 3rd party exe for that matter).

But I have a serious question. Why can't some one make a web page version of EFT and put it online like eve battle-clinic?

It would be more secure that way and as I'd trust a no-script Firefox with java turned off more than I would running any stand alone exe.
