EVE Online: Dominion will be deployed on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Downtime is scheduled to start at 02:00 GMT/UTC and is expected to be completed by 21:00 GMT/UTC. Tranquility will be offline for the duration of the deployment. The EVE Online website will be down during this time but is expected to be restored later in the day. We will be providing updates during these times. Pilots are advised to set a long-training skill for the duration of the deployment. Dominion will be introducing a new sovereignty system, new player experience and tutorials, new epic arcs, new EVE-mail features, the fleet finder, graphics overhaul with new planets, and changes to capital ships. Patch notes are available; updates to the notes may be added should any further items be cleared through the Quality Assurance process. These updates will be highlighted with green text. |

Could you please correct the blogs that you are using as documentation or add the changes to the patch notes. Anywhere but in the thread attached to the blogs. EDIT: OMG OMG OMFG! You FIXED the faction standings trap! YAY!!!! - It is now impossible for players to never have access to agents. Level 1 agents, up to Quality 0, will be available to all players regardless of their faction, corporation, or personal standing with the agent. This does not affect Research Agents or access to the character location service offered by some agents, they maintain their high standards.

What does this line mean?
After you have probed down a cosmic signature to 100% strength, it is now possible to warp to it with less than 3 probes without throwing an exception.
To probe it down, you need 4 probes. If you've only got 3, you can't get a warpable hit, so how does this exception ever arise in the first place? |

I don't really understand this (ships that are in space will have their modules moved to their cargo hold?), but for some reason I don't like the sound of it. Can someone explain? |

Works a lot better if you read the full patch notes for that out-of-context quote: Faction and Navy ships have been revamped. For details see CCP Ytterbium’s blog Adding flavour to your faction meal .Ships that are in space, in a station (either active or in the hanger), or stored in a Ship Maintenance Array structure will have their modules moved to their cargo hold. Ships that are stored in a Ship Maintenance Bay aboard a carrier will have their modules removed to the carrier's cargo hold. |

I did read full patch notes, notice that my quote has more included in it than the "out of context quote". I didn't think the first part "faction and navy ships..." were important for understanding the meaning. Edit: ok, I think I finally found the reference, this is just talking about moving items to your cargo hold during deployment of the patch, and not during regular gameplay? The devblog doesn't explicitly state anything, just that it's recommended you dock incase stuff is moved to your cargohold. I now see this, but it isn't like it's an obvious point that was made. Is it so hard to say that its going going to occur once during deployment instead of just quoting stuff back to people? |

the ships have been changed, slot layout, powergrid, cpu, etc... therefore current fits will most likely be broken, so everything fitted to them will be removed and you will have to refit your stuff after the patch. |
