What gives they are the one planet type that are looking all alike. Dark purple mass of swirling clouds, no signs of mountains, not much n the way of alternate colours just this sickening merging of swirly patterns

I think the only variation is in color.

Although I'd like to see terrain abit more since I can't really find any, it looks like a black stormy sea with lightning strikes on the surface to me.

I gotta say the new planets are quite impressive.

A little more terrain details would make them superb.

However as they stand now, I actually feel like I'm in space when orbiting a planet.

While I agree some different colored storm planets might be nice, I'm wondering what happened to the plasma planets? I haven't seen any since just after they first appeared. While I understand if they're just rare, but I recently went through about 10 systems in Immensea and Detoroid and didn't see one. Were they taken out?

Last time I saw a plasma planet, it was more like a blue lava planet.

Ocean planets seem rare too.
