Here's a new idea for Dominion... Nerf CCP so they can't screw up the game any further.

The fact that AAA, Goons, NC and IT are all in agreement that Dominion has gone down the toilet should give you a little hint that you've screwed it. Delay the patch, go back to the drawing board and figure out how to make your previous ideas work.

Where is the workflow pipeline for CCP's design department published?

I want to know why everyone keeps talking about these developer posts like we know who they are and what they really do at CPP. How do we even know the internet forum avatar Nozh can't log in as anyone he wants. How do we know that Nozh isn't actually just a doosher community manager dude who just publishes what someone from the design department emailed him this morning?

Trust me, no one in that industry just hands over the entire cap ship initiative to a different guy days before launch and lets him mess it all up.

I don't mean to confuse the issue here but i wish everyone would stop refering to these forum icons and the affiliated names as the singular parties responsible for the tripe presented.

First of all i want to thank you for ruining my day completely CCP.
I was saving up and working like a mad man to get me a mom... but i guess thats not gonna happen.

then over to more constructive tyipng.

you say that the titans is the logistical backbone of the fleet.
well a titan is usualy NOT on the field,
and they will become primaly a anti cap weapons.
so what do we lack in the capital fleets?

They are named Motherships.

what can they do?
carry about dubble the ammount of ships compared to a carrier.
they can lauch some more drones,
and they have bonuses for gang support.

why not inprove on what they actualy are.
they are a MOTHERSHIP

give the moms better clone bays, bigger ship mainenance bays,
and give them some gang bonuses that cannot be done in cheaper ships like command ships,
maybe introduce gang modules that can help the dreads and carriers on the field.
example: a gang mod that gives all caps on grid a armor resist boost.
(exluding super caps ofcorse)

that way you get them on the battle field and they will be worth taking out.
we dont need a omfg dps super cap killer. we need a functioning Capital GANG support ship.

and ofcorse a waay better tank.
you will not get them on the field if they can be wiped out easy.

lastly a example on what i think shoud be possible with a Mothership.

we have a battle betwen 2 large capital fleets and their support fleets.
on one side we have lost a total of 9 dread so far and the support has lost a total of 7 battleships,
the mothership pilot in this fleet has a clone bay fitted and does have a total of 8 battleships and some smaller ships in his ship bay.
he activates his clone bay and lets the pilots that has already lost their primary ship in the battle clone jump to him,
yes the mothership will be forced to stay a while on the battlefield,
BUT he can help his side get inn vital reinforcements and maybe save a part of his fleet.

i know a lot of ppl dont like this idea, but i posted what I think shoud be done with a currently USELESS overpriced ship.

Deleting posts ain't helping.

Motherships wont be anything but big, flashy suicide ships now.. show up in a Mothership in lowsec, and you have personally alerted any big alliance in 50 jump radius, and if you arent carefull - OH SNAP.. Dead Mom..

Atleast give the mothership its eHP bonus, then sort out the fighterbombers and such later...

In all honesty tho, why change what was so good? it makes no sense at all...

Well, at least now i know why only CCP has access to the 'Jove' ships. Cause at this very moment with IT and Goonswarm + other big name alliances agreeing on one thing... CCP is going to need em before we take over the game 0_o
