jsut to clear things up, my hero comment was not an insult to anyone, but to show respect for all fighting men and women around the world, the enemy is jsut fighting for what they belive in, and you have to respect that

I am Jake colvits brother and I thank everyone that gave thier condolences. He was in the 5th stryker brigade and his stryker was hit by an IED on a patrol thursday morning.

How to respect the fallen, without glorifying yet more war? How do we honor their sacrifice without the air of such things used by those who would never sacrifice themselves, to inspire yet more to such ends that benefit only ulterior motives. At Lexington Green some of the men managed to make it home to die at their front doors over the very thing they were fighting for. Yet distance obfuscates the meaning now, and money flows through pipelines into the hands of men who have no bravery, no honor.

Whatever the case, the fallen don't hear our arguments, so we should just pay our respects.
