What kind of defence/dps combination do you need to be able to solo level 3 WH?

How this fit would perform? Too little tank or too much? What's with DPS?

I have 70k ehp, 400 dps with this fit

Actual tank amount doesn't necessarily matter (to an extent).

1. You want high overall resists, the higher the better.
2. Switch to a T2 100MN AB. The increased sig radius would hurt you.
3. I would fit a web to help deal with the frigs

Take your fit and use it on sisi and see how well it works. I'm gonna take a guess and say
no it won't work. You'll run into the issue of things closing in really close so your
guns and missiles won't do as much.

I don't use a BC or BS for my C3 WH, use T3.

Supposedly the sleeper aggro list is: ECM > RR > Drones > Damage. You could, in my NON-expert opinion[1], drop the guns and the MWD/AB (sleepers are faster than you ever will be,) add an ECM module, a small RR for repairing the drones (and to draw aggro), a salvager, and a tractor. Use the cruise missiles and drones to kill sleepers.

The questions to ask are:
How effective is ECM at drawing sleeper aggro off the drones (does the ecm need to successfully land in order to draw aggro?)

What drones should you use (sentries plus the small RR? or heavies which will fly out of RR range.) Or one sentry being RR'ed and 4 Ogres?

Do TPs, webs, scrams, etc., also annoy sleepers enough to get them to ignore drones?

Again, these are more what-if-you-tried-this ideas rather than proven advice. Hopefully others can chime in with more experience.

[1] I've used a passive Drake (482 tank and 232 DPS) to slowly kill sleepers. (My HML skills are severely lacking.)

That will melt quickly in Class 3 Radars and Magnetometrics. Very quickly with 2 BS spawns.

You should be able to solo most anamolys however with over 400 DPS tank but that fit is in the thin edge of the wedge.

I was doing a class 5 radar site last night (first time for me, to be honest) with a gang of vulture, 2x scimitar, ishtar, vagabond, broadsword, rokh and abaddon, we all had drones out, and I don't think the sleepers even so much as looked at them. I was flying a scimitar, and it seemed they would most often focus fire on the abaddon (sensing he had the weakest tank there?), followed by the scimitars, and then the rokh. Vulture only got seriously hit once or twice, and ishtar/vaga/broadsword only drew stray rounds. My best guess is that at some point CCP vastly reduced sleepers' preference for attacking drones, or we would've lost all of ours in the first wave.

The more I read about it, the more I think, that it really makes sense to do it in T3.

So I guess I am gonna wait with solo WH exploration.

Thank you all for the insight, guys.

Thats what I use. I dont solo C3s in this, i use it with an ishtar. but it can tank most anomalies if you dont pop the triggers too early. for the empty highslots you put in a RR or a nos, but really... you shouldnt really ever have to worry about repairing your drones if you pull the one up thats getting attacked and then redeploy it. another sidenote, only have 4 hammerheads and 1 armor rep drone. or 5 lights and 5 light armor reps

info on Fit:
(All LVLV)
679 sustained tank
482 DPS (300 drones 182 missiles)
NOT cap stable. will run for 21min. but takes 2 hours to recharge completely.

ive never tried to use a NOS on a sleeper... not sure if it will work. but running this with a second acount for cap transfer spidering

Jump into a Pulsar C3 and you will be golden all day long i think, but would have a harder time being capstable.
