Again, you made the mistake of putting your daughter out there. You put her at risk. It's your fault. Take a look at your daughter, take a look at the internet, imagine the worst case scenario and then multiply it by one thousand. Now realize that the simple and easy way to prevent that is to just not expose her to the internet and all the douchebags like An

Anarchyyt out there.

What a load of mumbo jumbo logic you got there.

Take a look at the world (RL), it makes the interenet pale in comparison. The internet is a joke when it comes to "cruelty". Yet we place our children in it every day, they are more at risk there then on the internet.

So by your flawd logic its our own fault if something happens to them? Its our own fault since we did not lock them in the house and home tutor them?

You logic is flawd, and you seem pretty naive.

And when it comes to these douchbags, sure they will go for a few low punches (well, they will try), but when it comes down to it, they can only talk. Its taseless, sure, and they are likly saying it only to rile you up.

However, when they do make threats, they are responsible for them. And you are saying its not their fault because "thats how it is"?

You truly are naive.

As for Rells PVP approach, its sound.

The only way some people success on pvp is because others fail at basic brain functions.

The OP could be resumed in a phrase w/o all teh cheerleading: stop failing. But if everybody does stop failing, who would win? Who brings an higher number, best equipment, more SP, etc.

There isn't so much about tactics, skills and all that crapp (apart of getting over the terrible U/I). If you have some common sense and are not stupid you can succed AS LONG AS THE OTHER FAILS (this is what you missed).

Whether I quit or not or came back or not or anything like that is frankly none of your business. If you have a problem with me, look at the bright side, you will get over it.

Hence the "Welcome back anyway"

I agree wthat more people could be succcesfully PVPing.

But saying that sniper destroyers required thinking outside the box is stupid. If you think that you must have at one time lived in a very special very small box.

Try sniping with them without some tactical thinking and you will end up just being slaughtered. It isnt the configuration of the ship, it is how they are used and to my knowledge, AGONY is the only organization to ever use those tactics.

Yup, very small and special box indeed.

Firstly I respect Rells and learned much from him while he was CEO of Agony. It is fair to say without the courses and subsequently joining the corp that I would never have stuck around in Eve (and then been able to inflict myself on an unsuspecting Alliance Tournament audience Wink)

However in the time since Rells chose to step down we've moved on and re-organised under Bamar's leadership. So whilst I agree with much of the Wall of Text, I must point out that Rells no longer speaks for Agony...

But we still uphold the ideals of living in 0.0 with no blues, coming up with new tactics and teaching PvP to anyone who wants to learn Smile

Did I ever say that I did speak for them? Did I not say in the first paragraph that I am no longer with agony or associated with them? Did I give any impression otherwise?

No.

Relax, I am not ****ing on your garden. I am merely making a post of my opinions. Take them or leave them.

Let me be more blunt. Rells whiny, elitist, knowitall attitude does not reflect that of Agony Unleashed. You have good points but really, stfu and play the game.

I tell you what, I will let you know when your opinion of me matters to me in the slightest.

I tell you what I will do, I will edit the first paragraph to make it clear where i stand. There ... better now. Interesting to see agony's policy on flame waring on the forums has changed, especially when I only said good things about them. A bit ironic dont you think. But hey roc if you want to have a flame war with me, lets go. I'm game and I have the advantage of not giving a damn. Very Happy So fire your best shot junior.

Dying in EVE is, and has always been, a choice. If one chooses to not prepare, train, have intel or using the right strategy one chooses to lose.

Absolutely and the preparation for not dieing starts long before the fight.

Rells, it might be a good idea to remove the Agony logo from your signature, just so people don't get the wrong impression.

Welcome back to EVE btw.

Hmm I have signatures off it appears.

And I am not back. I am simply bored and posting since work has seen fit to put a three week scheduling gap between projects and sleeping is not an option with the new baby.

But anyway ... that is another story.

Ahh back then it was clean and pure. I remember the nearly daily jousting with your alliance and we were rag tag band of hard nosed pvpers much more hard core than today I fear. At times I think about trying to recapture that but with commitments in real life, competition in 3 gun heavy metal shoots, hunting, the kids and so on, its hard to justify it. I should consign it to nostalgia.

The Syndicate days were some of the best days eve had. back when the game was hard!
