I am thinking about doing the power of 2, but i don't know what to do with it besides building stuff for myself friends and extra isk, A production, trader and transport alt would be perfect for us as we do have an extra mining account that is sitting there with a hulk.
But i would need some serious help on getting start or if i should even do it.

Can i get some advice on a skill plan? Or should i do it?
It really is a hard offer to pass up but if i have no use for a second account why bother?

Some notes.
My main account is a combat pilot, PvP/cov ops etc(I hate doing mission's, but do not have a problem mining)
most of my friends are mission runner's or pvpers
We do have a miner alt in a hulk(was training for an all t2 crystals and then an orca before we closed it)

Anyways thanks!

For a production alt the primary attributes are obviously intelligence and memory. In your new character I suggest you max those two attributes with the attribute remap; lucky you get two with a new character. If you have the isk, 20+ million, to fry on this character train science to level three, cybernetics to level 1 and get basic implants (+3) for memory and intelligence only. Next train Instant Recall, Analytical Mind, and learning to IV, then acquire Eidetic Memory and Logic and train both to IV; another 10 million.

You can train the intelligence, memory, and learning to V with in the 100% bonus phase and with in the two week trial time. The time investment will show return in less than 5 months. Training all rank 1 learning skills to level V and all rank 3 skills to level 4 will show return within a year. Training all learning skills to level V will show return in about three years.

With the two spiked attributes, train cybernetics to level 4 and acquire the +4 implants; another 50 million. Intelligence and memory should each be 27 and you'll be training 2490 points per hour in science, mechanical, industry, engineering, and electronics categories (10% faster than a character with flat maxed stats and +5 implants).

If you want to build stuff get production efficiency to 5. Read the BPO's, resolve required skills and build costs, buy mins, don't mine. If you want a miner, transfer your old miner alt to the new account, if you still have it.

Save the spare remap. Check out corps with R&D agents, i.e. Kaalakiota Corp, learn those skills and get into the datacore market. Get your mission running friends to fleet with your noob scientist while run missions for a corp that has R&D agents. A potential boon for minimal time investment until everybody does it.

Use the certificate feature to explore what you want to do and they will tell you which skills you need to train. I know the 3rd party EveMon tracks them, I'm sure there are others out there too. You can use that to build a training plan for what you want to do. Or if you just want to get that new ship, which skills are required to open the hatch. ;-)
