Encountered some minor problems with screen freeze/buffering but overally It looked great and I enjoyed viewing it.

HD was perfectly sexy on first day, but as time progressed it began to stutter and finally resorted to audio-only with video frozen.

Then it would *rewind* and start repeating from the start of the stream.

So I switched to SD. Props: Most texts were readable even on SD down to the drone types, so that wasn't too bad.

This reduced the problem some, but on sunday it was back with a vengeance. Tried hopping to HD occasionally, and tried alternate browser, was still worse than SD. Looking forward to the Youtubes now since I missed *both* Pandemic bomb openings due to not catching that the commentators were starting to sound repetitive.

This is on T-DSL Germany, on a Snow Leopard non-pro 9400m Macbook with Flash 10.0.32.18.

Overall, 7/10. Needs some work.

Like others here I had the problems yesterday that have already been listed . Standard definition would the video would stop but audio would continue . High definition would stop both audio and video while waiting to load buffer then resume both . I live in the suburbs of Chicago , USA . I have a cable internet that is no less than 12Mbps/2Mbs down/up and can be higher than that . Other people that I know had the same issues . Hopefully you can get these worked out by the next time you stream stuff .

Now I feel better that I wasn't the only one having streaming problems. 7mb Internet connection, started semi-finals in HD but had to switch to SD before finals. It was still horrible, kept buffering about every 5 to 30 seconds and video would freeze sometimes for up to 1min then finally come back.

Was bummed I couldn't watch the tournament due to dial-up connection. After reading this thread I guess it wouldn't have mattered anyway....

The HD stream was awesome. Lots of buffering problems during 'live'. When I moved the timeline slider about 10 seconds back it would be perfect. (mostly during fighting and not so much during the interview chatting) I ended up switching back to SD when buffering was problamatic.

I found an old topic I made a while back about a nice way to record these tournaments.

Really good job guys, if I could clone myself Id like to send one off to perma help all who do such groovy work.

Feed back: streem was great but did loose its place (uk here) a few times and only sometimes let me see HD.
I currently just got into working with HD rather then dvd/video (720 ect) and one thing is if u do hand held stuff u cant get away with any shaking (its just to hi res and doesnt blur it). It bugged me for ages.

There are a few cheep things that can help for shots where u need a moving cam and dont have the massive budget to hire a reel steady cam unit + camera man.

or just type manfrotto steering wheel, (doest have to be that make) but its helped me loads (mainly used to drop CG cars into footage ive shot whilst in a car and moving at speed). I do like the locked off shots and the way u setup the frame with the ammo and stuff :))) just if u want to get more adventurouse I hope that helped.

Would also be good (if Charlie has any strength left to take all the best bits from this year and make a nice compilation ) (could even add a few extra "boom hull shots " just for ships and giggles).

once again thank U, its the only time in the year I think its maybe ok to be in an alliance for sure.
