Hey glad to see someone else is trying this ship. here's my setup

High:
3x named 125mm Rails, Micro Plasma SB

medium:
named 10mn AB, Webber, Scrambler

Low:
small Armor repair 2, 2x Micro Aux

9 hobgoblins

It works pretty well for me, Plut or antimatter ammo for close up death or go ranged. the drones really eat up Intys while close up.

The MIcro SB seems odd I know but it knocks down Light and Heavy missiles. not sure about Cruise or Torps.

aanyway hope it helps ya

Not a flame but.....

Drones and smartbombs together? I guess as long as you keep the drones out of range it would be okay...how easy is that to do? (if that is what you do)Just interested :)

Hehe, yeah you might think that. I tend to stay away from close ranged ammo, but carry it incase a inty gets to close. I generally load up on thorium ammo giving me a 10k optimal range so the drones aren't close to me while on the attack.

Yeah, I use a lot of setups with both drones and smartbombs. You have to be a bit careful of course, but in a lot of cases your drones will be engaged quite a bit further out than your sb radius. Plus, the sb helps in situations where you don't necessaritly want to launch drones in the first place (missile spam from multiple opponents), and it helps reduce missile damage when approaching.

The Ishkur looks like a sweet ship, I'm getting one as soon as the prices drop a small bit. :)

The problem is that i am still not sure if with this kind of fitting, and with the low speed, the ishkur will be able to survive a pair (or even only one) of crows launching missiles, any hint? (and please, sorry my bad english, i am spanish)

I prefure the duel MWD ishkur. It actualy runs extremely well if setup properly, you give a bit of offensive ability away but you gain a speed advantage over most all ships including ceptors. I think i run 3 125mm named rails with range ammo, duel T2 MWDs, T2 small cap battery, 2 relays and an AUX power low. If you tapper the MWD they will run indefinatly.

The 9 drones is just sick on a frig lol.

a Nos is kinda nice but they don't add to much for a frigate.

The ishkur doesn't have to much to fear from crows. you only take 17% per missile on average. coupled with a speed of 950 (with the 10mn) and the smartbomb you can knock down missiles with ease ;) You gotta try it t believe it but trust me it's nice.

...the problem will be explosive type missiles, and the nos will be more usefull if used in a blaster setup. I had an iskur setup that was pretty good at short range blaster:

3 ions+nos

web+mwd+cap batt or cap recharger

cpr+armour rep+T2 energised explosive membrane.

mwd gives a better boost (a bit over 1000m/s), but you will be a lil restricted in cap. use it only to speed down to your web/blaster range.
as for the drones: i had a mix of several types of light, but for inty hunting, warriors are the only ones that can get close and fast, althou hogoblins are also good.

be in mind to use named or T2 stuff in there AND to be carefull with explosive damage sources.
