This year, Fanfest will be mozzo. Even more mozzo are some of the events that the Community team has in store. From winning an office tour, to bidding on some great goodies in this year's Silent Auction, to a Battle of the Bands and our first ever poker tournament, Fanfest will be the place to be! Learn more about these wonderful opportunities to donate to Child's Play, our favorite charity, by reading CCP Navigator's newest dev blog.

I dunno... I paid about 8 USD for a bag of crisps (potato chips) at Bonus.

I'm really looking forward to all the events we're doing this year. I'm hoping we cross the 1 million ISK mark... real money, folks, not in-game :D

Don't lie to us CCP. we all know you want to get the money so you want to raise chucky (child's play charity). That way you can control and dominate the world with that little kid's doll.

p.s: your probably doing this cause the last movies sucks real bad. Twisted Evil
p.s.s: I hope you all know who chucky is

The price of a beer in iceland is usually between 600-700 Krona in most bars and clubs and most food is generally more expensive than you would pay back in the US or many countries in Europe.

That aside, this is a first time tournament of No limit Texas Hold-em between players and Devs with some nice EVE prizes and specially crafted EVE medals. Plus it is all for charity so you not only get to have fun but you also get to help out children in need. How can that not be cool? Very Happy

CCP are now playing with children for charity? Rolling Eyes
Had to, was irresistable. Still, supporting kid gamers is good.

I've had the wining bid for the office tour the past two years and frankly can't say enough good things about the experience. This is a great opportunity to see behind the scenes at CCP's office in Reykjavik. And the hospitality they show is amazing too.

Will I be bidding again this year? I haven't decided yet. ;) Whether I'm in or not there will no doubt be some competition so bid with your best! Child's Play will appreciate it.

Is it possible to get a 'ballpark' for the office tour bidding? Or what the winning bids were at prior FF? Have no idea what to bid.

Any info greatly appreciated.

EDIT...I see Devblog has starting bid, but not sure just how high it has gone

I will help you out since this info is already published somewhere. The two times I won, I bid right around $2000. The first year didn't even have a minimum bid and I blew my highest competitor out of the water. Last year it was a lot closer, or so I was told by CCP. :)

Bid what this opportunity is worth to you. I'll admit I stressed over "bidding high enough" and found my peace when I resolved the final bid amount. If I lost I at least knew that I put my best bid forward. Especially since getting a tour from the CEO of CCP is truly a one of a kind experience.

You should always feel free to bid - no matter the amount. Even if your bid is unsuccessful you gave it a shot Smile
