Incredibly sexy fights V. I especially liked the vagabond clip, shows some nice player skill there. All throughout the video it's really cool to watch you pick apart larger gangs full of weaker pilots.
I wish you'd make these longer!

edit: the fight in kanza was incredibly good, you could have left at multiple occasions and i would have been happy just seeing you get the bsword before they warped in. what you did from that point on was just really good. thanks for taking the time to share this vid with us! |

WoW ... just wow. Without a doubt one of the best vids to come up lately, and that's saying a lot, considering the competition - Garmon's vid/Flix's vid/Rawr Cristinna's vid, and the fact that the editing is not that great. :)
The heat managemant was awesome.
PS: You didn't have Crystals on, did you ?

Wow guys thanks for all the positive feedback. Great to see after getting blobbed and permajammed so frequently, makes it all worth it! :)
I hope Muad' Dib got it working. I encoded it with adobe encoder... its just a regular *.wmv file as far as i can tell. |

great engagements. awesome ship choice, anytime matar is putting on a show i think the community is going to be excited.
one question i had - when fighting the astarte, do you not think its worth it to try and get into falloff and abuse astarte range? obviously cyclone can handle point-blank but i always think of matar as having a range and speed advantage to exploit against gallente.
anyway keep it up, really cool to watch. |

Awesome, wish it were longer tbh. Thinking the same thing kil2 was vs astarte thought you were crazy sitting at 500 meters, i always take advantage of sucky range of blasters. |

Cyclone/Astarte NumbersRF EMP = 1.5+10 Barrage = 3+15 GN Antimatter = 2.3+9.4 Null = 5.6 + 12 My guess is he was trying to get max dmg by being close so that his dps+sentries would bring the Astarte down as quickly as possible. Plus the cyclone really doesn't have a range advantage on the astarte (see above) and V's cyclone just has a scram, no point, so to prevent them running he needs to be around 9km or closer. |

I figured hed wait to flag to when he got to zero and then would scram + web me, making pulling distance hard. He did that plus he had an AB (which i didnt know). So i loaded up hail hoping that my dmg plus sentries would overpower what i assumed was an active rep. Definitely a downside of the cyclone that i only have one slot for tackle to keep any semblance of a shield tank, i am forced to use a scram to hold things close, so i am never really able to engage outside of 9km.

I also wish it was longer :(, I tried for a solid week to get one more decent fight in a BC and mainly just got lots of massive local flares. Also essentially all of accursed either left or went inactive during this time, so to keep my eve sanity i put the movie out. What length of movie is a good length? I think both of mine have been around 15 mins.
I did not get any good footage with the faction booster :(. I took it out for a few spins with no real luck. Dmg increase isnt as large as i was hoping cause i have to drop the tech 2 HAM launchers to named, and i didnt want to do arbies cause they're too expensive, so fit isnt as awesome as i hoped :(. Giving faction items to blobs makes me cry too :P. |

Edited by: Resdayn on 26/08/2009 13:38:56The main reason people want it to be longer was because it was so good 30-40 minutes of it would of been cool, but if it's hard to find fights for you which is pretty understandable these days then 15 is cool too Also an advice, I really suggest you go to CVA low sec for a shot some time to try to fight their pets under sentrys, you might get an epic fight |
