Black opts, covert opts and recons can generate them.

My question is, are any other ships besides the Black opts ships actually able to use them to jump into another system?

I'm pretty sure only black ops ships can jump to them, otherwise everyone would be using them and abandom regular cynos

Only black ops can lock to covert cynos.

The Black Ops Battle Ship is the only ship that can use the cyno, however the Black Ops can then create a Black Ops Bridge that allows Covert Ops and Force Recons to jump through. Capital ships cannot use a covert cyno to jump or bridge to.

^^ this. I don't think covert ops and recons can generate a covert cyno, can they?

Neither has the Covert Jump Drive or the ability to fit a Covert Jump Portal Generator, no, but they can fit a Covert Cynosaural Field Generator. I don't remember if stealth bombers got that ability along with the ability to use the CO Cloaking Device.

ArrowCovert Jump Portal can only be fitted to blackops.

ArrowCovert cyno fits on covops/blackops/stealth bomber/cloaking recons

ArrowOnly Blackops can jump or bridge to a covert cyno

ArrowCloaky transports / covops / stealth bombers / recons can right click a blackops ship, and jump to an active covert cynosoural field once the blackops pilot has done 'right click -> bridge to' or right clicked capacitor area on HUD and bridged to <pilot name>. the fuel is consumed from the cargo of the blackops ship.

ArrowBlackops can also cyno or bridge to a normal cynosoural field.

ArrowCapitals cannot jump to a covert cynosoural field.

ArrowCovert cyno's can be opened in cyno-jammed systems (CVA hates them lolz :D)

Hope this helps.

Also covert t3 can use a blackops bridge but cannot light a covert cyno.

No. Ships can equip them but cant actualy jump through them themselves, thats what black ops are for. A ship that open the cyno sits 4lys away from the black ops fleet. The black ops fleet is composed of 2 black ops, a 20 recons. The black ops open a jump bridge to the system where the covert cyno was set in. The recons jump in through the brindge. Once everyone jumped through, the blacks ops jump themselves and close the bridge beind em. BO's dont need the bridge to jump themselves since they can auto lock on any friendly nearby covert cyno.

Can T3 ships equipped with the covert ops subsytem also use the bridges?

Yes, but CCP stupidly decided that they weren't able to actually light covert cynos.

The problem with your sig isnt the display size, its the memory size. its 44900 bytes, not 44000 or less.

1: Just say anything that can equip/use covert ops cloaks can use the Covert Ops Jump Bridge

2: AFAIK Black Ops ships CANNOT bridge nor jump to Cyno Fields (Standard)
Reason being? It was mentioned in Assembly hall as a proposed idea to allow for.

Feel free to prove me wrong as I'm going based what I've seen/heard so far.

You mean ship cyno? If true, that's a bizarre design decision. I jump to pos cyno arrays all the time in my widow.

Any friendly or any *fleeted*?

Also, I recall reading somewhere that b ops bs can *see* all cov cynos in the area (but possibly not be able to jump to them), including hostile - is this true?
