I have a few questions, I know that when somebody steals from some one, in this case some ore, the owner can attack the thief, i thought that the owner had to attack the thief before the thief could attack the owner. I was recently mining in a 0.7 sec system when this guy warps in takes something from my can, i see that i can attack him but i dont, i didn't really care he just took a little bit of ore and i had no weapons. Anyway he sits there for a min or so then just attacks me and blows me up! I didn't do anything thats bullshi7! What just happened/ It would be stupid if somebody in a big ship just comes along steals something and then kills the owner in an unprovoked attack!

Doesn't sound right. You either took the ore back or you aggressed him.

Are you sure you didn't have drones out that might have aggressed him?

Perhaps he decided to suicide you?

Or he killed you before CONCORD came to provide consequences...

You had to have agressed him then. Took back the ore, your drones decided to hit him, or something.
