Hai fellow podpilots.. As the title of subject matter suggests, I have this one question of curiosuity..

No, scratch that, so to speakwise.. I have more than one (1) curiousity regarding the matter of upcoming anouncemented coming of Dust 541.

I am not godly with english language, sorry for my mistypos and wrong grammar.. I will list my curiosity points 1 by 1 in listing form, so I can be more comprehensible.

1. Is it truth or dare that CCP has been working on this game of console of Dust 504 for the past 3 (three) years, paying their staff with the money (IRL) that I pay them for good of game of EVE online? I did not pay them for make some console game game, because of I have no game console. I payed them to make Eve Online game better, which scarcely got better. And now I read in the morning papers (evening papers in my timezone, but so to speaking) that I have been funding a game I will never play, for the past 3 years?

2. Was "Ambulating" the code word for Dust 451? Have we been lied to all along? Is there still "Ambulamer" to come "soon" for the regular game of Eve Online? Or has it been a prank from the beginning?

3. My main lives in 0.0.

4. And because of that, I do not want to proivde gaming consolers to all my minions in 0.0, so we can hang on to our already owned planets. Unless CCP is willing to pay for the material costs of 145 consoles for my alliance (active players only) to buy (IRL) so we can cling onto what we have built in the past 3 years in nullsec. All the while you were building Dust 504 with the funding we provided you. Not fair.

5. Observationing: We alredy have enough percentage of immature players of Eve Online game. By introducing this new Dust 145 which is and I quote "massively multi player online first person shooter real time strategy" game, please explain to my lawyers how that will improve the player base?

6. Conspirating theory: Were all those nerfs in the past couple years in fact a preparation to alienate the regular player base, and become more like Wow of Warfract? Is that why you never listened to the suggesitons on the test server? Is that why we have stealth bombers who cant cloak and falcons who cant jam? Is that why I got podded??

7. Alternative suggestion for Dust 154: make it so that only females (IRL) can play it.

8. Alternative suggestion to the previous alternative suggestion (still better than your current plan imo): Make a new game called Duts 587 and have fun. And pay the current players of game of Eve online all the money you spent (IRL) on the 3 years of your developing of Dust 643, paid in ISK.

9. Final note: Phail, Dear CCP, on all levels imho. You are exemplary of how not to run a company. Lying to your paying customers about "Ambulating" for 3 years, while you were using the funds to create a new game, which will mess up with the old one. Not to mention server upgrades, or just improving the feeking UI ffs. Good job.

10. Since my enlgish is not so good, I clarify: No, not good job, i am being ironist.

Paying for EVE, to get EVE better, but actually funding development of a console only game that we wont be able to play.

Again, CALL FOR A DEFINITIVE STATEMENT FROM CCP ON THIS.

WILL THIS OR WILL THIS NOT BE AVAILABLE ON PC?

Congratulations on getting the number '514' wrong so often, but slightly differently every time!

I love the idea that the whole of 0.0 will be out of the exclusive control of the few that control it now (Check sov maps, for 330k players, so few controlling sooooo much is redonkculous.

Do not enjoy the fact that meta gaming can lead to the scenario where 'fan boi' players refuse to move and just sit in spawn spinning while the other side wins space for their friends.

If you are not satisfied with the service CCP delivers to you for Eve for your monthly fee, then stop paying them.

Since you paid them for more than 3 years (as you claim), their service couldn't have been that bad, right?

Is is completely up to CCP what they are doing with the money they earn. If you don't like Eve, stop playing.

I for my part think that CCP made a lot of improvements regarding Eve, both in hard- and software. Compare the Eve of 3 years ago with Eve today, I see tons of improvements.

So stop talking crap about that CCP abused 'your' money on other things. First it isn't your money any more after you paid it to CCP and second it wasn't abused but well invested into Eve.

Oh, I'm quite aware of it. It's just that some people actually believe that paying for EVE means that all their money needs to go to EVE.

Hey rocket surgeon. How do you think NEW things are made in the first place? They don't just pop out of holes in the ground they are paid for by other people and most of the time by the products one purchases and the income derived by that purchase.

Anyone who doesn't know this hopefully doesn't live in a democracy because you being able to vote should be illegal.

I am curious. Did you think that they would never ever venture into something different. And unless you know their money situation they may have paid for this from other investors. The truth is with all the whining and moaning going on by grown people no one here knows for a fact how this will affect the game. Your doom and gloom speculation does nothing but add to a paranoia that to this point is premature. Hell the game may never make it...Blizz developed Star Craft Ghost for several years for the console before it was scrapped. Fact is if this was PC people would be jumping for joy but the crying seems to be more aimed at the fact you are bitter because you have a pc gamer vs console mentality and a real hang up on age as if the massive posts here havent proved that grown ups can be as childish as anyone.

CCP takes a massive step to becoming a better game company (and turning eve into a franchise) and all people do is complain.

Use some common sense ffs. If CCP is making enough money to fund 2 games, GREAT. If theres not enough money, CCP would use the reputation from EVE to secure investors in their next project. Under no imaginable circumstances did CCP CUT EVE funding to fund DUST 514.

And you are getting your panties in a bunch over a 30 second video and a 4 minute presentation. Stop whoring these forums with uneducated assumptions.

1. YOU DO NOT PAY CCP TO MAKE EVE BETTER.

You pay CCP a monthly subscription for access to EVE. How CCP chooses to spend that money is up to them.

You're just lucky that in the past all of it went towards EVE. Now it is being split between multiple projects. Deal.

2. Ambulation is walking in stations. Nothing more.

3. That's nice.

4. The consolers will have part of the input into sovereign space, and you will have the other part. Want the consolers to do something for you? Give them a task and reward them with ISK.

THE WHOLE POINT IS THAT YOU PAY THE CONSOLE PLAYERS WITH ISK TO WIN TERRITORY FOR YOU.

5. It wont affect your player base. It will create a new one on consoles.

6. Shut up.

7. See point 6.

8, 9, and 10. See points 6 and 7.

At Fanfest '08 they confirmed that they pulled large numbers of people from EVE to work on new projects.

Ever wonder why the sound problems, socket closed problems, and scanning problems -still- haven't been fixed? It's because they've been busy with Generic Halo Clone #514

Qouted from a press release

Now entering its third year of production, DUST 514 is the primary development focus of CCP’s Shanghai studio. The team includes veteran designers of EVE Online and experienced talent from various sectors of the video game industry.

Just the one office is dedicating its time to the production of DUST. So im sure the rest of CCP are still focused one the Eve we know and love.
