That sounds good to me. Make space bigger, let more players own structures and ditch walking in stations. I became an Internet Spaceship Pilot to fly Spaceships on the Internet and show off my Epeen, not walk my fat ass around :-)

While I don't feel that WIS should be put on hold, I would love the addition of new systems, preferably a whole new couple regions. Wormholes added a lot of space, that's for sure.

The harsh reality, though, is that large portions of space are currently being held by massive alliances that, even with so many people, aren't using even close to every system. The addition of new regions would, most likely, allow these large groups to organize and move in quickly to control them within a few months.

Drone regions, anyone?

There should be a way to refuse wardecs or make a very restrictive kind of corp which cant be wardec'd. There is really no way to disrupt a skilled corp using wardecs, but it is really non-sense that a hundred or so corp can wardec a starting corp of industrial pilots just for kicks. This discourages many pilots to follow an "all industrial" path in EVE. Due to the time it takes to learn skills. It is unfair to industrials when you can get into a battleship in less than 2 months just maxing two attribs and buying two implants, and you cant even get a Covetor in that time going straight for it, even if you somehow menage to get all the implants and remap accordingly.
My idea would be to create two kinds of corp, regular and industrial corp. Industrial corps would be restrictive enough to make so that the only combat you can do is attack at your own risk the ones who steal from you. Some other things like impossible to go to low sec, etc. Bottom line would be that kind of corp is just for people mining, manufacturing and researching, and only in hisec. In return the asurance of not being subject of wardecs.
For those miner molester wardecers wondering if this is unfair, think about this:
Presently it is possible to do it yourself. Someone wardec you, you transfer your corp to an alt, leave corp with your miner to a NPC corp, let the alt handle trades and corp, and transfer the things you need to your main through the alt in company travelling in his/her capsule.
It really wont change the possible avoidance of treatening wardecs to disrupt miners that otherwise wouldnt even look at you funny.

Can you please absolutely rule out the possibility of buying skill points for isk or real currency.

It would ruin the game and I believe my viewpoint is shared by the majority of players who've been playing for longer than a few months.

I think buying skillpoints isnt something CCP would allow anytime soon. But there are already so many things real money can do for you in EVE:
- Buy money (PLEX market), allowing beginners to buy implants, in a train of thought, allowing a small exponential purchase of skillpoints;
- Have alt accounts, allowing bypass the char restriction to train one at any giving time, thus, somehow allowing "purchase of skillpoints";

In the hands of some crazy well funded person, those two things would by far surpass the effects of single char skillpoints purchase. Adding the skillpoint purchase to that 2, would really trash the fabric of the people not paying for things, but, really, what huge unballance that can cause on top of these 2 already possible ?

Pfft, typical.

A thread ostensibly detailing the most commonly proposed ideas on the forum and it neglects to mention the recurring FIX HYBRIDS and FIX GALLENTE threads that appear every week?

Proof if ever it were needed that CCP hates Gallente. And hybrids. Especially hybrids. Their office is likely strewn with hastily contructed dolls of blasters and rail-guns covered in pins. And those are probably sitting not far from the alter dedicated to the worship of CCP's chief deity, 'Minmatar', and his consort, 'Amarr'. And beside that, the shrine where they make offerings to their lesser deities, such as 'Autocannon' and 'Pulse Laser'. And lo! See the pantheon of gods CCP worship? And for as long as they do, the disciples of the one true god, the god 'Game Balance', shall remain persecuted and fated to travel the stars indignant, muttering to any who will listen of the great injustice done them.

Brothers, I fear that the time shall come when I too take up worship of their gods - albeit with a heavy heart! Every day I fight the temptation to make an offering to 'Minmatar Cruiser' or 'Medium Projectile turret'. For now I have the strength and resolve to resist these demons, but I know not for how long.

The problem is:

If something is simpler and less versatile to use, more people use it better. If something takes knowledge and can be used in many ways, less people use it better.

No wonder why hisec can baiters and other small time griefers usually have minmatar ships and huge fleet combat between true warfare corporations dont.

There are ships capable of destroying you before you even reach the falloff of such weapons you mentioned, and they arent Minmatar or Amarr. There are ships capable of suffering huge hits in a short time, or medium hits for a long time, and still they arent Minmatar or Amarr.

Make all ships the same isnt balancing, it is boring. That is why CCP doesnt do that.

FIX DRONE REGIONS.

1. Faction Spawns Suck... Give very little T2 salvage and crap drone parts
2. No Hauler Spawns... Yes we would like to have some of these too.. please introduce Drone Hauler Spawns.
3. Drone plex's Suck.... Yes they do... not really worth doing...no real rewards as such.
4. To Make isk in drone region.. one must haul/salvage/collect/refine ..etc.. Drone region is skill intensive and time intensive compared with other regions.. yes boost drops and make refines better!!!
5. Drones hurt more than other rats.. no real problem here..but make em worth killing.
6. Be nice to see faction drones drop drone faction mods...ie.. Drone Commander EANM, Drone Commander Smart Bomb with stats like TS.
7. Lots more.... make it worth being there.

Agree. It must be a 'limited' player corporation type, which:
- requires positive security status from CEO, and, possible, from all members.
- cannot wardec or it will lose it 'protected' status forever.
- cannot have low/null sec property
- pays a 'protection money' to CONCORD, a small fee, non-linearly dependent on member number. (like a n^2)
- not paying a monthly fee temporally suspends, but not removes, 'protected' status
- theoretically, someone can still wardec it, but in case of any trouble CONCORD sends patrol ships to help. (of course, in high sec only) (that looks realistic - just like IRL)

This is, with all due respect, a terrible idea. Much of the player controlled content in eve consists of "non-consentual PVP". That's the way it is, that's the way it should be and if the devs do *anything* to make the eve universe soft and fluffy then in my opinion they would be breaking the game.

No it doesn't, but it should teach industrial players not to join fail corps that can't even get organized enough to handle being wardec'd.

A great idea would be a tool that allows you to "Uninject" a skill. You would not get any SP's back. This would just allow you to remove the clutter of useless skills (mining skill if you are PVP, etc).

Would love that one for this toon YARRRR!!

Have a bunch of sp in different areas that I don't care at all since I have an industrial/miner toon alt, would really like to get that sp back to put is somewhere else.

Could we get the topic on new implants re-opened please? I have an idea for some new ones and the topic is locked. It has to do with the lack of harvest implants and the fact that the ones that do exist are not that good. Thanks.

I'd like to add my request for a generic item comparison tool, like the variations tool, but with support for an arbitrary list of similar objects (that I may or may not own). e.g. compare multiple ships, or multiple munitions that aren't variations of each other. Thread (which has some other specifics) is here: Item comparison tool

Thanks for listening!

Font scaling is essentiel when playing on a HDTV or with a resolution of 1920x1080

This has been repeatedly asked for years. CCP never even gave any kind of answers. petitions opened on this topic are closed, and support ask us to "go post on the forums ! the devs will hear you !". I might as well post in uranus.

Most needed things for me:

1. Ability to use 5 heavy / sentry drones at once with proteus.
2. Drone dmg rigs and implants.
3. Fix hybrid weapons - all knows it sux, takes alot of energy, needs ammo and range is just a joke.
4. Another issue with hybrid weapons and gallente design overall. Gallente sux in solo pvp, that's because we're using hybrid weapons which range sux + our ships are armor tanked = We're slow and nearly always out of range. Thats selfown, and an error on design phase.

I completely agree with FlopSter on the previous page. I'm currently moving from one base to another (I'm in the military). My desktop computer was packed up by the movers almost a month ago. Thankfully, I made sure to queue up a 29-day skill. Unfortunately, I won't get my computer back for another two weeks. I have a laptop, which previously was able to run EVE (though only powerful enough to log in, chat, and update my queue- space flight was not possible). Unfortunately, it can't run Incarna (weak video card- automatically rejected). I understand the desire to move forward and advance EVE, but what's the harm in creating a quick web-portal within EVE gate that allows you update skills, and perhaps even send email to your corp-mates? Watchlist - Logistics Wish List:
a) expand the watchlist from 10 to one wing
b) click and drag positioning
c) color coded by ship type setting assignment and/or overview setting
d) adjustable columns
e) broadcast "ping"

Shouldn't be too hard to code.... Very Happy

Having tried the CQ for a few days. This is not the way I think Eve should be going. If I want a run-around game I will go to WoW or other simular games. Please concentrate on Space/Ship thingys instead. I have 3 accounts and now can no longer run then on my 4 year old laptop as CQ needs a higher spec graphics card. My main Pc cant run all 3 accounts at the same time even though that is a top of the range PC. If possible can we wind the clock back so Pc's that are only a few years old can run Eve.Not liking CQ at all and cant see me using that part of the game. As for the new clothes how can a item of clothing cost more than a ship lol.ugh

Yes! But IMHO Corp Logo on ships should be special. If everyone had it then whats the point, right? So why not creat an Epic Epic Arc (yes 2 Epic's) requiring Corp participation throughout the entire Arch. Only the Corp ships involved in the completion of the Epic Arch get "stamped" with their Corp Logo and/or Abbreviation.

I would like to reopen the topic "Use of Heat, Targetable Modules, and Electronic Warfare" http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=546933

I heard that CCP is trying to Re-Balance the Eletronic Atack Frigates making it a little better, since it is one of the less used ship in the game.

One reason that this frigates are not as used as others are, because they don't do anything special. They are weaker then an assault ship, slower then a Interceptor, don't cloak like a covert ops ship, nor drop bombs like a stealth bomber. Also they are useless compared to a Recon Ship.

The EW modules that it uses can be distributed among the fleet and you would have the same effect, since every ship can use its modules.

So, I see in this topic a way to turn this most harmless ship in something that would really be recognized as a treat! Make electronic attack frigates able to use Heat Electronic Warfare! And this ship would be unique!

Thanks for your attention, and please consider this Idea, i know this goes along ccp plans, and that this module can be well balanced...

Can I suggest two ideas :

A new tab named "Route info" in the map pannel:
http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1536721

New market window filter "For my active ship only":
http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1536189

I think both could be very useful.
Thank you.
