Just bought this, seems pretty great so far, giving me very strong Freespace 2 vibes.

Played the demo ages ago. All I really remember is being able to change your bearing without changing heading. That was a welcome change from the "space ships fly like airplanes" standard.

Ah that's a fun game. I still have the CD somewhere buried underneath years of accumulated junk. I hated the nebula region though. I like to be able to see where I'm going.

Aw man, this game is awesome. I played it religiously back when it was released.

The baron is mental, but hilarious.

It has Privateer 2 overtones, and we quite simply lack any good space adventures these days, the market seems to have died off.

Totally picking this up later, I have the CD somewhere but I have no idea where.

I had it running on my 166MHz laptop once. It was horrible, but it worked. Very Happy

What I want to know is, for a game that seems old (I'm not too sure how old it is) why is it still costing money? ugh

It's only 6.29. It's worth it.

Great game. The Ships are completely customizable and there are two really interesting story lines.

It introduced me to the space 'sim' genre and I love it for that.

Also, Delta Force Black Hawk Down is on steam as well. That's the first game I ever played online Laughing

Don't forget that Bruce Campbell does the main voice. That's reason enough for me to buy it. Hopefully I can get my Sidewinder to work with 7 so I can play it properly.

I'll get it after I get my new computer so I can actually run Eve on a decent level, and atm every dollar I need Smile

Looks really promising though, I've been going back to older games like Star Wars: Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast, Battlefront II and stuff like that

I still have my copy of this game and my copy of Freespace 2. Sometimes I'll dig them out of the archives and play through them, if nothing else, just to relive the stories.
