Greetings

I've just read about the changes that are planned for the t3 manufacture proces, and I must say

Thumbs up ccp, it improves that wich, in my opinion, sorely needed some rethinking.
I'm certain that the t3 market may grow if the changes prove to fix the current bottleneck points.

Although I'm slightly disapointed I wasted so much time and resources on the current ineffecient t3 industry Neutral

Anyhow, let's see some appreciation for these wise decision Very Happy

We (the AMC alliance) got lucky, we'd just had a round of reverse engineering and have 18 bpcs (3 of em hulls) we were about to start manufacture of T3 components for (I'd just sent off the gas in the correct ratios to be reacted - except we were going to be short of c320 - as usual).

Now it's "unless there's a specific internal request we'll hold off RE and manufacture until the patch hits TQ".

That should go for everyone involed with T3, basically it will be very few builders until the patch hits.

I think the changes are a great idea, t3 while with some configurations allows for god setups are generally not worth the cost, and wont be probably ever. The idea is sound but if they are not better then T2, then who is going to spend more for a less effective ship...

These changes will go a long way to lowering the prices to a "better" level, but still wont be enough. Allowing hybrid reactors in high sec will also help, since there is no logical reason why they shouldn't be allowed (you still have to go into 0.0(WH) to get 95% of the items required to make research and manufacture them).

Also, using T3 as the name implies was in my opinion the wrong decision. If you are going to use a numerical system that generally denotes something better, then it stands to reason that T3 would be better than T2...I know T3 is to be not better, but more diverse, but still, it by name is disapointing to a lot of people, acording to forums and in game chat.

Either way, geting the prices to drop below T2 (hull section) would actually make T3 used, and subsystems, all 5 for a specific setup, shouldn't cost more then a hull section.

If the price never drops below t2 or total with 5 subsystems below 2 t2 cruisers, then it will be a very under-used, ship class.

Definitely. All I fly are Cruisers and BCs, and when I heard about a new breed of cruisers coming out I was jumping up and down like a kid getting an ice cream. However, once I read on the manufacturing requirements and saw the prices, my heart sank. I can't see getting a cruiser that's over 300mil is a good investment. I'm sure over time, the T3 cruisers will find a well earned place in New Eden, hopefully this first change is the start.

Great! More profit for me.
