I just thought I would share with you all with 5 of my rules that have gotten me through eve to date. Hope it doesn't get locked too quickly.
Rule 1) Don't shoot blues. I know its being debated as to if this is acceptable or not, but in my mind if you start shooting blues then you start getting shot at by blues and you run out of friends fast.
Exception) If they deserve it. Or I didn't set them blue. Or no one can explain to me why they are blue. Or I didn't see they were blue till they were in to half armor..
Rule 2) Don't rip off corp mates. Blues are fair game but corp mates are supposed to be the people that protect your back.
Exception) If I joined a corp with the express reason to take from them, its ok then. Also for the lulz.
Rule 3) Highsec is for carebears. Stay out of it.
Exception) OK, I need to fly ships so I need a hauling alt. Also, greifing said carebears is fun too, so I need a toon for that as well.
Rule 4) Ignore standing when there's a carrier kill involved. I'm perfectly happy to fleet with reds if were all there to kill a carrier. I wont stab them in the back until the carrier is dead and were looting the wreck.
Exception) OK, for the lulz I might tell someone there is a carrier to kill then warp them in to a trap.
Rule 5) Missions are for pussies, never be caught dead in one.
Exception) Busting someones mission is WAY more fun and doesn't count.
