If he lacks skill and isk to use a Paladin, I'm quite sure a Bhaal is out of his league as well. And I pointed out the Arbi is pretty cost effective.

I can put the Pilgrim and Curse to damn fine use (all skills related lv5), but I would much rather use an Arbi myself. Then I can afford to lose a few, and/or my investment/payoff will be alot better when put in perspective.

Looking through the stuff I fly with my characters, I hardly fly anything but t2 ships with mix of faction/deadspace/t2 fits, I'm generally not a cheapskate. But in cases like this.. The Arbitrator is a nobrainer, imho.

Nothing more hilarious than a 'PvPer' who can't figure out how to kill mission runners Wink

Meh, not getting trolled by you, sorry, try some1 else ;)

No really. How hard is it? Passive Drakes aside, PvE ships are pretty much all vulnerable to one thing: Cap warfare. Other than that, you need to apply DPS. I fail to see how hard it is to figure out which ships and setups fulfill those roles.

Man (or woman? Rolling Eyes) i have nothing but respect for you, but in this case, you either fail at reading the topic, or insist on trolling. I am more than aware of what you wrote, that's why i didn't ask for just any ship, i asked for the best in my situation (low isk/sp), a ship that is both relatively cheap and brutally effective Twisted Evil. Cheers

Problem is the curse is the really only cost effective marauder killer, faction bs can be done with a good bc/pilgrim assuming they arn't webbed. If you wanted to ignore cap warfare then an ishtar will tear a faction bs a new one, although marauders again web and potentially carry neuts plus you need enough hp to survive the mission damage long enough to get out alive which typically means bs hp.

If the Bhaalgorn is truly out of your sp range then take an apoc, fit 2 neuts, a nos, 5 guns and the rest. Alot of people forget that a Bhaal is really just an apoc with an extra slot, extra bonus and more hp but the apoc has slightly better fittings, more cap, higher cap recharge and identical dps. It's web is less effective, it neut less efficient (but more cap to run it with) & its it's just a couple bil cheaper.

Something like this, substitute tii for named if the sp is too high:

[Apocalypse, Poor Mans Bhaalgon]
Heat Sink II
Heat Sink II
Beta Reactor Control: Capacitor Power Relay I
Damage Control II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
Adaptive Nano Plating II
Large Armor Repairer II

100MN Afterburner II
Stasis Webifier II
Warp Disruptor II
Heavy Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I, Cap Booster 800

Mega Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L
Mega Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L
Mega Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L
Mega Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L
Mega Pulse Laser II, Amarr Navy Multifrequency L
Heavy Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Heavy Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Heavy Diminishing Power System Drain I

Algid Energy Administrations Unit I
[empty rig slot]
[empty rig slot]

Hammerhead II x5

not sure on the last two rigs, it's been a long time for me and my skills are maxed, this ship has alot of cap and ccc may be overkill, on the other hand trimarks will slow it down but buffer is always good. Anyway, something to think about.

Bhaal has more style.

Actually, PvPers who get killed by mission runners is funnier.

BTW, you need to mod that to a PvPer with low skills that wants to kill mission runners in T2 battleships.

I mean come on, you make it sound so easy. But I am guessing that anyone flying a T2 BS is going to know that there is some chance that he may be attacked (if the possibility exists), and may be partially ready for it.
