I once said I might go. But then I didn't. Then I pondered it some more. But still didn't.

I never once thought about quitting, I just trained a month long skill, then I trained another.

Infact I'm still doing that now.

I'm just flipping skills to optimise my Orca, I tend to find thats how the game goes. You stop playing whilst you skill up obscenely long skills relevant to your interests.

Definately spend more time on the forums than I do in game.

I kicked the ass of some guy in GAME store while playing Streetfighter 4...
A group of kids challenged me... Jason here will kick your ass he's awesome.
Oh they tried to smack talk me but i never replied and little Jason got frustrated after i beat him on the first game.

He was one of those little scrawny greasy kids that have a mouth larger than their physical build could back up.

Smacktalking little gits.

[FAIL] i said after his first loss.
[FAIL] i said after the second loss.
[FAIL] i said after the third loss.

He just spams that ****... I'll nail him this time he cries. He was red... and really angry. cursing and swearing he picks up the pad for a fourth time.

In the first round I massacre the poor sod. and he slaps at the pad and jumps back to shout **** you. You sad mothe..WAAAA.
He jumped back a little too far and went sailing over a display of games and went clattering to the floor.

I pointed at him (making sure he saw me) and said [FAIL]

I'm just letting you know - the griefers win. I lose. I'm quitting EVE. I'm currently in the process of trashing all of my assets and ships, and I gave away my remaining 227 mil to a total stranger.

This is the epitome of griefing, isn't it? Making another person feel like ****, doing what you can to prevent him from enjoying himself. Lying, cheating, stealing, betraying. Sacrificing your humanity behind the mask of an online identity.

It's not "just a game" to me. I can't deal with the constant pressure of people everywhere ready to betray you for a dollar, doing absolutely everything in their power to keep you from enjoying yourself.

Maybe I don't put enough distance between me and my character, but when I play this game I gamble with my REAL emotions and REAL personality. And thus I am REALLY affected when people like you do this thing to me.

Your kind has finally succeeded in making me leave the best game that I ever played. I hope that you're proud.

My friend got a lot of responses while playing Streetfighter online as well...

One guy in particular kept fighting him then typing tons of angry messages about how all he can do is throw...

His last message said something like.
THROW THROW THROW THROW THROW THROW THROW THROW. I'm going to find you and kick your ass.

My friend responded.
"Why? I'd just throw you!"

40 ouch... not quite no... But admittedly when I do eventually get to that age I'd probably do the same thing.
Angry kid tears are just too funny.

I used to play DAOC. I was an officer of my guild, our GL was a rl friend and my best friend was another officer. Just to shorten the story some I was literally the right hand man of the GL. If he was going to be late I could get in and inform other guild and alliance members. Other than that I sponsored the idea to move our forums completely to the alliance website to cut down on webpage viewing time and double posting. I'm the one who brainstormed the idea to move the guildhouse and all associated player houses to an open area for easier access for all guild members. I attended all meetings no matter how stupid it was to sit in town and stare at other players.
And I was also a raid leader for Artifact raids in TOA for those that know the game. Nobody asked me to put up with 60+ idiots, I did it on my own free will. So anyways the alliance leader (not the guild leader) had a tendency to be a 40 year old baby and throw temper tantrums. On one such tantrum he was supposed to be hosting a dragon raid but decided he no longer wanted to run in so I stepped in and took over. The raid was a flawless success and I was commended for my actions in it.
Since that point I started taking over all of the dragon raids on top of my arti raids. Well my best friend was leveling a valk at the time. Everybody wanted his valk in the frontiers but no one was willing to help him get her there. I should add at this point that the alliance charter states that we are a family and we function like a family, we are in this game to have fun and try to help each other when we can.
So after a few weeks he starts getting frustrated because he can't get anything done, namely an ML1 raid in TOA. I've never ran one but I figure sure why not. Only I didn't post it on the alliance board because at the time we only had maybe 6 people going to it on a regular basis. I posted it on the VN board hoping to score a few more hits. Only needed about 2 groups anyways.
That night we hit off the raid. As a nice guy I announce in alliance chat that I was holding this raid. Next thing I know I get a pm from the Alliance leader asking me why it wasn't posted on the alliance board and I simply mentioned that it was pretty dead lately. He then shot back about not being able to help me because he didn't know about it and blah blah blah and he logs just like that.
So we go through and bust out the raid and everyone had a good time except for my friend who actually had to get off early and was really, really ****ed about that (so in the end he still didn't get what he wanted).
Later my GL talks to me about the alliance leader, said he was mad or something and I needed to apologize. Apologize for what? My raid, I can do what I want with it. Well the alliance boards caught on fire from the flaming insults. My GL took the side of the alliance leader instead of that of his friends, my best friend was booted from the guild, and to teach me about communication they created a rank for me where I basically couldn't talk to anybody. We were both banned from the website.
Needless to say I lost the heart to even play that game after that (although I tried going back a few times) and to this day I refuse to lead a raid of any kind.

Theres my emorage.

My best eve-related ragequit was when i caught some idiot miner mining in a barge on the first belt, at warp in, unaligned, jetcan mining. I was going to let the pod go, and he knew this. And just as he thought he was safe, he called my mother some very nasty things, so i had my alt catch him at the gate. He hasn't logged in since then.
