Hello, I'm not a very experienced player so I really don't know what to do

My main pc recently broke(yesterday), so now I can't play eve(no prob untill I get another one).

The problem is I had a 2 day skill training at that time so by now it must be allready done...so I'm losing time not being able to train something else...

Is there a way to train skills outside the eve client?
OR
Is there a way to fool eve into thinking this Radeon 9200SE has Shader Model 2?
(I don't really care if all I can see ingame is primive-like graphics, all I want is to keep training.)

Thanks in advance.

Maybe install eve on a friend's pc and set some long skill to train?

Your only option is to access your account from another computer or fix yours.

Just be aware that using a public place like cyber cafee, can be very risky because of low security..Can´t count how many times i heard people loosing their accounts due to keyloggers in those places,in my 10 years of online gaming...Even heard the very owners of those places being behind it,and sell the accounts of at Ebay for extra profit..

So if you have a friend whit a laptop or something,i would recommend that option..Of course only a good friend you think you can trust Wink

Tháts odd, in my 4 years of working at an internet café I've never heard of anyone down there losing their account.

Maybe not at your place,i did not say all have low security..What i did say is,its risky, but so is crossing the street..Like i said a friend is a safer choice..
If he must he can pick a chain of internet cafees´s,they tend to be more update on security ect..

Edit: or stolen, of course.

Account sharing is more popular than one would think, not so much in eve as I've seen in other games, suppose that's because everyone already have multiple accounts so there's no real need for borrowing.

If you can swap out the Radeon 9200SE for another card (ie it isn't a laptop) I would just pick up a budget AGP card ($20).

Well, at least probably yes. You can give it a try, nothing to lose.

I did the exact same thing. Fortunately we had a video card go out and had to be replaced about 3 days before Apocrypha went live, and since I was buying the replacement I got us a cheap SM3 capable card (8600 GT), so I can continue to do so when needed.
