I also was in this fleet. The fleets objective was to go kil a Caldari fleet that was moving in. We formed up in safe spots. We were told not to engage the Heretic fleet. Heretic's (and their friends Mortal Destruction) scanned us out of our safe spots and jumped us, twice. Both times there were blues to Heretics in our fleet who did nothing but watch, or run. The fleet then began trying to evade Heretics with the hope that we would still be able to engage the Caldari.

I don't know what fleet you are talking about here, but this wasn't my fleet...

When I was running my fleet I spent the better part of the night looking for the "tics" with my scout and I sure as hell couldn't find them.
Quote:
The Final Stand asked someone in our fleet who was not the FC, for safe passage for Gunship Diplomacy, so that they could go and kill the fleet we were running from. Understandably, botched communication led to an incident were we fired on those coming to kill an obstacle in our way.

For future reference no Dark-Rising FC will turn down the chance to shoot at a WT when presented with the opportunity. We do not need or want the Amarrs help, all we want them to do is die.

Quote:
At this point, immaturity, ego, and general bad attitude led to a complete breakdown, where the Final Stand is seen as traitors and Heretics, who had been hunting, killing, and hampering militia ops all day with their friends, are now suddenly the good guys. Was Final Stand wrong for asking for outside help? Yes, especially from the amarrians. However, the militia members later saying they would have backed them up are the same ones who hid and ran from Heretics all day. Were the Final Stand the ones killing militia fleets using blue's to divide them? No. Additionally, the Caldari fleet was allowed to roam our space unimpeded, thanks to Heretics.

There actually was no caldari fleet mate. we were actually looking for the "tics" and were using the caldari as a cover in case they had infiltrated a spy into our fleet.

Quote:
The real problem here is not The Final Stand, nor is it the Heretics. The real problem are the Militia members that have Heretics set blue. Heretics are simply doing what they have always claimed they would. No more, no less. You are cowards and weaklings that claim to defend your fellow militia members while running away from them when they are attacked. You talk of loyalty? You talk of brotherhood? This situation would never have developed had the militia's loyalties not been so divided in the first place.

100% agreed. These ****s are obviously farming our militia because of this. It need to stop. If you have these guys set to blue, I encourage you to revoke those standing so we can fight them on even ground.

Quote:
Kazzzi, you weren't there, but it was disgusting to watch our militia stand by and do nothing while it's own fleet was being attacked, and then watch these same people lash out at others for being traitors.

I have asked many times, which Militia members have Heretic's still set blue. Surprisingly, the cowards keep refusing to answer. We are not blue to Heretics. We will never be blue to any corporation that attacks militia members without provocation. Anyone who does is a traitor. Pure and simple. If you stand by the strength of your convictions enough to allow fleet mates to be attacked while you stand by and do nothing, yet are afraid to publicly state where your position, you are worse than traitors, worse than backstabbers. If you will not watch your fellow militia members' backs when in fleet, at least do us a favour and tell us that? Can you at least have that much back bone?

And so I ask, yet again, who in the Minmatar militia still has Heretic's set to blue?

This is a valid question, and I think it deserves an answer. I swear to god, if I am in a fleet engagement with these ****s and I find someone not shooting at them, they will be podded on the spot.

The sequence of events of this was such:

Gunship and TFS had formed a gang together to kill a common enemy in the form of the herectic militia(whom I will note bravely stayed well within docking range of their home station). A minmatar militia fleet jumped into auga and I ordered gunship pilots to warp to station until I could hopefully sort out a temporary cease fire with the minmatar gang.

I opened private communications with a member of the hostile gang to resolve things and was given word that their gang WOULD NOT fire on my pilots. Whether this was the FC or not is irrevelent. I have received confirmation from some within the minmatar that this person and the FC conspired to break their word and engage us regardless. I orded my ships to warp to a location in the direction of the gate and realign for station. One of mine mistakenly warped to the gate and paid for his error.

Now I find it hilarious that these oh so brave minmatar soldiers need to resort to such actions to get kills when they have such overwhelming odds. Obviously their fleet commanders need some extra training in their vocation.

Mirrorgod, you claim to be a friend of the minmatar after attacking their ships coming through the ossoggur gate at every opportunity and bullying/begging their individual corps into accepting blue status with you? You are pathetic.

Dark Rising, run your mouth all you want. We'll see how long you keep yapping once TFS/G.DIP gangs dismantle your pathetic skillless blobs without any militia help.

A single battleship loss is a very small price to pay to find out who I can trust to honour their word and solidifying even more the bond between TFS and G.DIP.

We'll see you all in space fleeing from the charred wreckage of your ships. Every day.

Kazzi, I still remember when we shot each other on a daily basis, when you where in 1PG/VV and I in GRD/EM. While I'm glad you betrayed aberration in light of humanity, you're hardly one to speak about switching sides.

I never was a member of the ranks of VV, but yes I flew alongside them as an Amarrian paramilitary pilot and did once count them as my brothers in arms. It has been a year since, not so long in the great scheme of things i suppose. I was born and raised to hate you Minmatar and later trained to kill you. I have committed many atrocities for which i never expect to be forgiven. I am simply glad to have realized the true evil nature of the Amarr Empire so early in my career.

As far as "switching sides", this was not a simple whim I took for personal gain. It was a life decision, a quest, a sacred duty which I have never taken lightly since. I was not lucky enough to have been born with your enlightened point of view, but had to define it for myself amongst the obstacle of my entire races culture.

Hypocrisy? Show me one moment since I joined the cause where I have wavered in my dedication and I will gladly end my own life, for the cause and all those still in chains are all i live for.

Not terribly suprising - The Militas are made up of Capsuleers, after all, who's loyalties aren't quite as set as some might prefer.

Still, that the Matari are willing to scrounge help from their enemies to fight off some local pirates? Says a lot about the state of the War, I suppose.

If you did not have the agreement of the fc in question, directly from that person any blues or ceasefire cannot be relied apon. We're are at war, just because you hate the heretics as much as some of the minmatar do doesn't mean they won't shoot you. Honour should be kept but its not dishonourable to shoot a wartarget when you have not arranged anything as an fc. I have respect for you and most of your corp but Trusting a random fleet members word is foolish.

Can we stop chatting about this and go back to shooting each other (whoever those people maybe)?

Someone lied to you. It wasn't the FC. Whoever spoke had no authority to do so.

well now.... As DARK began it's epic crusade of effectively squashing pirates, caldari, and amarrian targets throughout the Gallente/Caldari battlelines, we were suspiciously war-decced by no less than 9 pirate corps.. simultaneously.
Better yet, caldari fleets began appearing with pirate augments on a regular basis throughout the pipe. DARK, and the rest of the Gallente militia never backed down from the threat. I hate going of on tangents like that, but glaring lie glares brightly.
We expect no quarter, nor mercy from our declared enemy and none will be given. Ever. This policy is expected from our fellow militiamen. You must know where your loyalties lie folks. And for Christ's sake, fix your overviews.

okay. FC is the guy in charge of the fleet. so, when FC says, "do this", "this" happens. negotiating nonsense with your bed fellows who just happen to be in a DARK FC'd gang means nothing. God knows how many ambushes you lead the Minmatar militia into coordinating with the TFS. DARK does not negotiate. DARK kills. Don't make a similar mistake in the future, so this way you'll only be able to blame your horrible losses on our drones and mystical lag shields.

Dark left gallente milita as our personal corp objectives had been achieved. There was no other reason for leaving Placid.

The current state of system occupancy in the Gallente/Caldari warzone, had no bearing what so ever on our decision to work with our Minmatar brothers.

We have always opposed the religious clap trap spouted by the cruel slave holders. Dark is here to ensure they regret it.

On topic for the thread.

Gunship Diplomacy are yellow-backed honourless dogs unworthy of name or fleeting recognition. I salute the actions of those pilots who choose to fire on their targets in the face of political manouverings from external entities.

The concept of Minmatar freedom fighters cooperating with 24th Crusaders against external forces is a ridiculous one - an insult to the memory of the fallen in this conflict and almost designed to spread discontent and disunity by its hollow nature.

I'd like to call upon the Minmatar milita and its allied corporations to take stock from this fiasco and reforge the bonds of unity between yourselves and your true allies. Put aside external feuds. Concentrate on the true enemy.

Pirates come and go. Pirate threats are transitory.

The foul Amarrian nationalists are laughing at you while you waste time and effort chasing shadows and turning on brothers.

Strangle the dogs and make that laughter turn to bone-dry death rattles in their filthy ashen throats!

The struggle continues.

If you ever bothered getting some intel (here, a new word for you) or just read our forum you'd know our long term program. Moving Villore=>OMS was step 1, OMS to Esesier was step 2, Esesier => Taff is 3 (if you can't see why, I suggest consulting a doctor) and the program is but starting and will continue regardless of FW and / or FW factions situations.

Quite frankly Jade, you're not worth the effort. Perhaps once you stop hiding behind your minmatar blobs and pry yourself out of your carriers and away from the stations then perhaps we might reconsider, but for now we have plenty of things to shoot at for free.
