This is not a whine, but questions about stuff that confuse me:

1. Since the apocrypha, on exiting the game(with and without open fitting window), eve decides to stop responding, and I can only exit by doing the CTRL+ALT+DEL to get a chance of seeing the pop-up that eve has stopped responding.

Why is this?

2. After apocrypha has been patched I've noticed the FPS being stuck at 60FPS, give or take a few decimals. Before, the FPS used to rocket around 150+, even in hot-spots. Now I know 60FPS is quite ok, it's much more than my old machine ever gave me. But... I enter a belt, zoom in completely, and I'm still getting 60 FPS, but the game starts acting as if FPS has dropped to 6 FPS, and not holding at 60. The lagg I experience is as if I've been playing on my old machine, on dial-up(never played on dial-up, to make it clear). Now, as I got concerned that my machine could have been the cause for this, I've went so far to re-install windows completely, thinking it could solve the issue. But to no avail, the game behaves the same way. The same slowdown happens in warp, on stations, and anywhere else actually, even in dock, while doing the famous bored-the-hell-out-spinning-my-ship-in-dock thing...
Another annoying this is the slowdown while typing, as if someone was preventing the keys on keyboard from entering the text...

Why is this?

3. I have rigged the manticore with one rate of fire rig, and one damage modifier rig. After doing so, I fitted 3 Arbalest siege launchers, and loaded up gurista juggernauts. I've added 2 BCU II's(ballistic control units). The rate of fire gets applied. But damage mod don't happen on the charges, I've tried opening the fitting window in dock, and when undocked, checking through ships info, and any other way. Offline, online back on the modules, the same thing, 1026,3 damage on the torps. with or without bcu's. I've just tested this tho, shooting the idle thorax. with two bcu's I'd hit for 212 damage. When I offline 1 BCU, i get 200. after offlining the second bcu, I'm getting 184, or so. So it definitely gets applied.
Same note I got from a friend that uses minmatar ships and gyro-stabs.
So I'm guessing it's display issue?
What really upsets is the signal distortion amplifier's/ecm boat's effects on ecm modules. It happened several times before. You fit a ecm module, and it's not getting bonus, but the other ecm module next to it does. Several times, I tested when this happens and I couldn't jamm a stabber nor a drake with best named racial jammers, 2 of each, it worked after several cycles(I was in falcon). the suggestion to relog is quite stupid, all I can say. Why? Well, you are online in your cerberus, for example. A buddy comes along and asks you to bring your falcon to help him out in a fight. Ok, cool. You undock, thinking, great, I got 13 points on each jammer, this should be easy...The fight starts, you activate one jammer...NOTHING...second jammer " heh, now his eccm won't work"...NOTHING..." WTF!?!?!!?" starting a multispec, see if this breaks him...NOTHING... I can't relog now, can I, while the guy is having himself ripped a new one, and all because the bonus didn't get applied.
This needs a rework, seriously. I've lost a falcon recently, exactly due to that.

One more note...CCP, you exceeded yourselves this time with the falcon nerf...nerf of the nerfsRolling Eyes...I mean, it was overpowering before, true, but now, it's nothing but expensive heap of ecm modules with almost no hope of survival, unless you eliminate it's primary purpose and usefulness. Good work on the Rook thoWink. Liking the torps too on the manti tooWink...

Lots of reports about this, doesn't happen to me though. Try updating your graphic drivers since it was said to be related to that, if that doesn't fix it. Create a bug report to direct ccp's attention towards it.

This would be the interval setting. Intervall default is now on by default to stop people whinig about overheating graphic cards etc. This effectively limits your fps to your refresh rate (in your case 60 Hz / fps) to reduce video card heat. setting it back to immidiate will bring your fps right back up.

As for the third, I really haven't been ingame much lately, but if you think it's a display issue, make a bug report to get ccp's attention to it as well.

Thx for replying.
As I said, I've re-installed windows, so it can't be helped.
I've just played with the interval thingie, and my FPS rocketed up again, like 150 or something. My fan doesn't like it tho hehehehe. It's running like mad and spewing fire out(figure of speech), but the slowdowns in belts are I believe pretty much gone.

Is there any setting between this intermediate and default, so I could arange my FPS to hold at some 100 FPS or so, I believe it would be able to hold the temperature of the GPU and CPU down, while reducing the obvious laggish slowdowns I spoke about before.

My graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT(laptop machine). The thing is, compared to playing COD4 online, at similar FPS, also at max settings, it don't nearly create as much heat and no lagg at all in COD4 as it does in EVE.

So if anyone knows the settings to regulate FPS limit manually, please let me know.

And what do the other settings in that "interval" do, the ones other than "intermediate" and "default" ?

Thx for help.
