If all he made was 700 odd million as he claims (Even though 400,000.00 * 10,000 = 4,000,000,000 though, so i smell a rat) then he was either doing something extremely wrong in the first place.

Also thats not griefing, its called Profiteering. Laughing

Great, now I have to clean up the tears off of my keyboard. They leaked right out of my monitor from their crying eyes. That could be considered greifing you know?

I don't know if this was some sort of subtle troll or if all these guys were just a bunch of aspie whiners.

The two examples given...

The Eve fellow: l2market
The EQ fellow: Well he did say that he wanted the spot... hence not griefing.

Rolling Eyes

I was expecting some laughs, maybe a 50/50 split view on it but all I got was Escapist staff complaining about griefers.

"I'd had a few beers, and I bought ammo at 400k each, and all the money I'd earned in 2 years was gone". While part of me sympathises, the fact he looks so :sadserious:, AND he contacts the scammer, AND raises a petition AND he'd been playing for 2 years but not learned to sort sell orders by price, makes me not so sympathetic.

And then follow the psychology of why 'they' do it Rolling Eyes

So they give perfectly accurate definitions of griefing then the situations they describe aren't really examples of griefing at all ugh

Can someone clear something up for me?...

I thought when you bought something off the market and deliberately picked a higher buy price/order than other ones that were available then you'd automatically buy the units from the person selling it at the cheapest price, who would themselves get the higher price per unit (hence why people sometimes say "why did I get loads more than I was expecting for a buy order").

Also I was under the impression that it wasn't possible to find out the identity of the person you bought items off the market from (the seller on the other hand knows the identity of people who buy stuff from you), so how could he have contacted the guy about the scam and got a "lol" response?

/me confused
