Every month of FW changes, but the last 2 months have saw a steady decrease in Gallente numbers.

For the good of the Pew-Pew I think thier is a few options we can turn to:

#1
The time for talking is over. Now call it extreme if you like, but I propose we hit it hard, and we hit it fast, with a major, and I mean major, leaflet campaign.

..To recruite more corps to the Gallente side.

#2
Turn-coats, yes..some of us Caldari can join the other side. I personaly would be up for this as it would add some nice political unrest to the regions.

Need Gallente feed back on this 1st.

#3
Gallente need a HERO, some one to FC thier smaller force to defeet the larger but very unorganised/low-sp/badly-fitted Caldari Fleet.

In theory this is very doable, and some times is done, but is begging to become a daily campain if a decent FC made it so.

If the 22nd and Pervs changed to the gallente side, you would lose all the systems you have taken.

^^ see what im saying there?

For the good of the Pew Pew that might be what we need, but I think of all the corps those are the 2 most loyal to the cause.

You would need much buts ex to buy them over.

My point is, they are the only ones which effect the system occupancy stuff in the main, without them doing that there would be no chest beating threads and just pew pew & im sure you know the gallente are not bothered about being outnumbered in fights, therefore rendering your suggestion void ;P

There is no need for a hero. As fighting Caldari blobs equals desync. Caldari knows it and plays it.

We have pleny of capable FC running about. The fact that you do not know this shows a lack of intel. kthnxbye.

Turn-coats? No thanks. Noone likes traitors.

PERVS has Caldari State standing around 5.0 and gallente standing is so low that it is not possible to change side.

But if we could change side we would just do it for fast isk by killing mission runners in highsec. And i think it would not be a kind of pvp you ment.

Do not worry, soon Caldari have almost all gallente systems so i think gallente finally knows where to put their forces to get fight. Capturing last systems can be a hell.

Why would you think that? what will change to make this happen?

I take it you are talking about fleet fights. 2/3 months ago the Gallente were in a similar position. The Caldari stopped bringing out fleets and started Complexing more. The result was less PvP and a lot of Gallente got bored and left/moved on. Others chose to play the plexing game.

The Caldari who plexed started taking systems and making posts on the Forums about how they are 'winning' FW. This attracted a lot of Corps/players to the Caldari side, who already outnumbered the Gallente, and the new recruits are fresh and eager to get in a fleet. Most of them have yet to face a Gallente fleet that would be a test.

Members of the Caldari militia hired outsiders to war dec any large corps in the Gallente militia. Paying other people to steal your fun.

Despite the obvious lack of Gallente to fight the Caldari will still form a fleet of 50 people and expect a fight.

I hope this explains why you guys are finding it hard to get fights.

We need more Caldari that like to PvP in small gangs. Last night we spent a couple of hours flying all over Gallente/Caldari space and found one fight(thanks Kruger81). The rest of the night was us warping in on someone plexing in time to see them warp away. More Gallente would just mean fewer WTs for me to shoot at and that's a bad thing.

Ive been interested in FW for a while now but I know almost nothing about it. I love the corp Im in and I dont want to leave it. Would I have to leave my corp to participate or no. If not Im more than willing to fight for the gallente. Whoever is basically in charge of the Gallente FW please contact me in-game.

You'd have to get your corp to join FW or leave the corp and sign u on your own bud.

I'm also very interested in flying the flag for the cheese eating surrender space monkeys but my standings with them are **** poor -4.43 so that's me out ofthe reckoning for a good while yet.

Leavesey, if you are really interested, contact me or Juan Rayo in game (I haven't looked up your char, nor do I know if it's your main, so we'd need the standard recruitment chat to see if we'd like you, and equally importantly, if you'd like us). We have the standing to absorb some negative caldari standing if you are willing to plex (and plexing can raise your standings VERY fast). I'll even let the cheese eating surrender monkey comment pass by *JUST THIS ONCE* :P. Cause we sure haven't surrendered yet!

Our recruitment thread is here:

http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1031342

This offer extends to other exceptional pilots (decided by our criteria ;) ), who may have inadvertently messed up their caldari standings but enjoy fighting against the odds, and siding with the underdog! We normally take most pilots who we think would fit with our corp, regardless of SP, but there is a limit as to the number of negative standing pilots we can take and keep our corp in fw for the gallente, so we will have to be a bit more selective than usual.

Do you want to make a difference? Are you willing to fight against what at times seem insurmountable odds? Would you rather fight a guerilla war, hitting, running, never being a complacent cog in a machine that outnumbers the enemy almost 2:1!? Does taking on a fight, even if you only think you have a 10% chance of winning, sound like an exciting eve experience? If so, contact chatgris today!

true, true ... We are loyal and i would rather be pirate then joining gals :) ... But still i do not understand complaints that we do not pvp. My problem is lack of wts on gal side.

No just flying through low sec and it is hard to find a frog to kill....ok yesterday was exception (have some kills/somee loses), but we received the big blob lag again so no big fun.

It was easier when gals were thinking they are the biggest. Now it is one blob, pirates or nothing (i do not want to shoot my caldari mates).

i was in gallente FW but the plexing maid in against my veiws since your "ment to be in a war" yet caldari were plexing it out there a$$ dsipite the early days where we were pwning hard in kill agaionst caldari dispite double the number against us they were taking systems because they were all plexing.

i think it kind of broken when you wipe out a entire fleet to then loose the system becuase 5 people where plexing.

still got my rank and everything =)

I was in faction warfare on the Gallente side for eight months, but the mindnumbing boredom of orbitting beacons for the only thing that has even a miniscule effect (a line of text changing on the screen) drove me out of it.

PvP was fun, but after some time I felt bad if I went hunting because I should have spent the time capturing plexes which basically amounts to fighting boring NPCs while a clock runs - or even worse, defensive plexing, which amounts to twiddling your thumb while a clock runs.

In the end I realized I was seeking excuses NOT to log in since I'd be forced to take part in factional warfare, and that's when I made the decision to leave.

IMO the system is broken if the only way to affect what CCP considers a meaningful achievement by such utterly boring activities for almost no reward. And tell me, why should I support a broken system which is additionally slanted towards the Caldari side and hate the time spent doing so?

No, it is not broken, you just killed wrong fleet. If you want to play fw you focus on plexes.

I know people want to just kill other people but you can do it everywhere without fw or not.
Faction warfare is capturing plexes and systems, bring your fleet to plex and kill those plexers or chase them out.
