The amount of rare loot dropping from mission NPCs has skyrocketed, I'm getting tons of prototype rails, named launchers and entirely too much good stuff - if this continues it'll completely devalue the loot market.

Your complainig about getting good loot yourself or just setting up a post to whine about how much agents are getting ?

I wonder if they did that on purpose. I am experiencing same thing.

An improvement but I wouldnt say a major one, the average number of drops is about the same but the proportion that are named seems to be better, and thus your chances of gettign a decent named item. But if they've changed the loot tables I'd say it was for all npcs not just the agent mission ones.

No such luck here, I sincerely doubt there was a change. Maybe you simply got lucky?

I know I didn't. I can still go into the Basic Damage Control retail business after tonight's outing and that's about all the loot success I've had. Sure, there was one 280 scout - which I haven't seen drop in a while from mission rats - but still. That's not a clearly discernable change and you know how I love to see numbers and comparative analyses, right? Confused

Why not keep it quiet if it is so? Before we end up getting 100 units of small iron charges from all rats.

OK, I may just reconsider that previous opinion! Don't know whether its loot in general, or guns specifically or, in fact hybrids only but this was my latest mission:

VIP rescue - 6 rookies and one named frigate - from this I got - 2 x 125mm Hybrid Scouts, 2 x 125 Carbides, 1 x 125 compressed and 1 x 125 Prototype.

Now that is just a bit on the overkill side with regards to named weapons!

I got that beat, Celt. My hangar's overflowing with 125mm and dual 150mm prototypes. Implants too, it seems - second one today.

i got 7 named small lasers from those 10 elite merc fighter :D
but on an other mission the ammatar ships dropped crap.

It's only seems that mercenary npc loot table has been boosted?

If you're feeling awful about it, I'll gladly take them off your hands Rolling Eyes

I seem to be getting more stuff, but the vast majority of it is junk, just like it would be before this patch.

Yes, something is wrong with the loot distribution.
Im working for a Gallente Navy agent and are getting no named loot at all.
i'm only getting scanners, boosters and trackingcomputers and haven't seen a single gun, named or not named since the patch.
A typical blockademission gives 8 medium shieldboosters, 5 sensorbooster 1s, 4-5 shipscanner 1s and so on.
No guns, drones and ammo at all.
Have talked with others that do missions from the same agent and they are experiencing the same.
At the same time i hear of agentrunners that are working for Caldari Navy that are getting up to 8 250mm prototype guns in one mission. they are also getting lots and lots of other named launchers and guns.
Also my killagent has started to give out 95% couriermissions after the patch.

Anyone here who gets their hands on modulated medium pulses, I'll buy them or trade them off you for other named loots. Can even offer implants in trade for large amounts of modulated medium pulse energy beam Is.

I strongly disagree with you. Drop from missions is now pure crap most of loot is only now ammo, drones and dog tags :(

I didn't seen good loot past patch from my agent and what more agent have tendecy bug me with too many courier missions which I refuse to do. Time bonus for kill missions is ISK. So it seems that everyone except me is happy may be I'm doing missions for wrong corporation. My main is Federal Navy.

Damn! Damn! Damn! I'm cursed

Maybe the loot tables got shifted due to Tech II weapons being released?

Makes sense. With the T2 weapons coming, the usual goodies will be devalued quickly, anyway. Think this is CCP's way of helping that along. Heck, even when these mods aren't worth much in the near future, it beats what we were getting most of the time.

Maybe its ships linked? Got a mission with a cargo ship guarded by 5 Depredators. They dropped almost identical loot - all of them had a ECM Burst and ECM WHite noise plus one or two other sensor related modules.

Please help me. Strangers have been filling my pockets with hundred dollar bills. At this rate I'll have to buy pants with larger pockets.

What? People are getting named guns? Ok that's not good, I never get named guns, and I haven't gotten an implant in months, doesn't that seem a little strange, to get one on the third mission for an agent then zilch after that? I keep track of which important missions I get, and the one that resulted in the implant hasn't happened but the one time, yet I repeatedly get the same two other important missions. If this is truly random, then the implant mission has a much lower percentage chance of turning up than the other missions. Either that or the list of important missions has changed.

Yep... after further observation i can say it's ship type linked. Serpentis defenders only drop cargo, ship and survey scanners. Serpentis chief sentinels and drug barons drop sensor modules. (sensor boosters, amplifiers, backups)

Seems Soldiers are the same as Defenders... yield from one Blockade mission: 4x Survey Scanner, 5x Ship Scanner and 6x Cargo Scanner.

Also had a Shadow Drug Baron without any Shadow gear.

maybe its because of the soon to come TechII weapons..I mean who want any names Tech 1 stuff..when one can get TechII stuff :)))

but again..I aint sure thats the reason

It now definitely looks like the Swedish chef has meddled with the loot tables, again. The tables do seem to be a lot smaller and more specific; obvious side-effect: your chance of getting a named item is higher. Not sure if that is good or bad, but since there are still inconsistencies (e.g. heavy missiles on Angel Marauders who don't even use them), the current situation is far from ideal.

I'll gladly take a loot nerf to get away from all those Scanners Rolling Eyes

Gone Berserk got me 8 Cargo Scanners, 6 Ship Scanners and 2 Survey Scanners. And I've got plenty more of those since the patch.

Well my initial luck with some of the mercenary loot tables has turned into pure crap for the regular blockade mission for example :

I got 25 crates of PURE CRAP. I mean, I wasted more timing collecting the loot then killing them off - but it was ammo, scanners, shield hardeners, ALL basic items :S and more of the same. Not a single named item of value :)

Now I dont complain, because overall I still got good loot - but by no means I think the totality of good stuff has gone bunkers - just a few missions, and a few times a day give a higher concentration, and the others are perhaps a bit worse then pre-patch.

Last night I ran a Gone Berserk mission for a Level II effective Quality 29 Internal Security agent. While the stuff the Guristas dropped was the usual junk, I still need to figure out the best way to use the Dread Guristas Co-Processor that the Dread Guristas Destructor dropped.

Maybe I was just lucky for a change.Very Happy

Yep, no weapons at all last night from Serps...It really sucked....All sensors stuff...

Low end rats...Named Ore Scanner and Ship Scanners...

Seems the randomness has gone away....

I do like all the named cargo expanders though....

They sell for 45-50m so thats a nice profit for an L2 agent :-)

Think they may have toned down the loot tables during downtime. Or at least the loot I'm getting isn't as good as last night.
