I noticed an exploit, or bug - call it whatever you want - in the criminal flagging system of Eve empire space.

Once I encountered this problem while mining in belt... someone stole things out of my container and put it in his own - so he got flagged for me.
But then as I dragged out the last bits out of MY own container I got flagged for him, too... that should not happen ;)

Next time I encountered this problem was yesterday when my brother ran a lvl 4 mission. A Vexor jumped in and stole his wrecks - so the Vexor got flagged and blinked red. My brother started shooting the Vexor, resulting in one Oneiros and one Typhoon jumping in. The Oneiros started repairing the Vexor - so it got flagged, too.
But now the Typhoon attacked my brother... so anyone got any idea how this could work?


Normally when someone steals your can or something your whole corp ( if player corp ) can kill him for 15 minutes. And NORMALLY when you attempt to kill him ( so shooting on him ) noone should be able to help him, as stated in rules of criminal agression.
And now I'm asking if that was changed or if this is really an exploit?!

might be "lag" related. And afaik some "specialised can baiters" use specificly that tactic.

this just sounds like a bug in CCP's logic code for determing who is red and who is not...
