Sorry AWECO, but by the way you've been treating your members, I'm not surprised this happened. None of you "HC" ever noticed how many people have been leaving because they got sick of AWE and IRC in general.

Next time, pay attention to high-level members *****ing and moaning. Either make them happy or kick them out.
Ignoring the problem makes it worse, and they start convincing other people in the corp of their views, then all of a sudden 20 people leave (if you're lucky, *without* all your assets. You weren't lucky this time.)

I laughed pretty hard when this came out. Not sure how much isk worth of stuff was lost, numbers all over the place from 200 bil to 1 trillion isk.

In the chats I have access to everyone is shrugging it off but frankly you don't shrug this kinda loss off

I mean cmon, guys that had you blue (until recently) just ripped you off, and all because you got greedy and decided to take a region from one of the most infamous alliances in eve. Add to that attacking a system with significant historical importance and then almost losing a titan in your own home system....

Well basically IRC is getting what it deserves. I never confirmed for myself if Oldma is really as paranoid and annoying as most claim, but I trust Farham.

Furthermore I just want to take the time to laugh at the fact that PRCP recruited me without questioning me about my corp history, or the fact that I said I've been playing since 2005 (but this char was created in 07)

Proof that they will take anyone. Which is usually proof that an alliance won't live for very long.

I also want to congratulate the thief.

one wonders how people get to run big alliances while being this naive about the nature of this game...

Really though this leads me to draw some interesting conclusions:

*IRC was nominally an ally of the goons up until a week ago
*This spy was a director and had access to alliance resources
*If he had that kind of access he was most likely embedded while IRC was still Friendly.
*Thus any alliance currently friendly with goon probably has similar moles, if their security hasn't caught them.
*The goons have always been known for duplicity, scamming, dishonor, what have you, they derive much of their amusement from screwing other people over.
*As soon as Delve and Querious are secured they won't need allies to hold onto it
*If history is anything to go by, As their current enemies stop being 'fun' they'll start looking at their allies.

so as the clock ticks down to Sov 3 in delve, it looks like things are going to get a lot more interesting in the near future, hope everyone friend and foe alike has a good system in place to guard against theft...

Don't forget that it's very possible that the director didn't have anything to do with goons up until a week or two ago.
Maybe this war thing has caused some people to act 'strange' :)
