A few days back I posted in regards to "escaping concord" and what happens if you do

Now, despite CCP giving us the means to escape CONCORD (inty) and essentially running from the cops , we still face ban consequences apparently...

Now, what happens IF...

1. Find a wormhole
2. Bookmark it
3. Immediately grab your inty
4. Shoot someone and thus aggro CONCORD
5. Warp to your wormhole and jump through!!!!!!

Will CONCORD follow you through??? What if collapses? What if it doesn't??
Will CCP ban you for GOING through one of their newly implemented features??? :O

Just some interesting food for thought :)

dude, if you could defeat a flotilla o concord ships, ccp wouldnt ban you.
that just be gay!

It's quite simple escaping from concord is an exploit as stated by ccp and a bannable offence.

That answer is kinda irrelevant to the topic questions posed here but..

In regards to it

I was under the impression if you ACTUALLY fought CONCORD that even if you could destroy them they would continuously spawn forever until your asploded

since when is running from the pigs bannable??
thats not right!!
thats definitly not right!
ive seen vids of peeps taking on concord for a laugh!
its not bannable, just ill-advised.

You wouldn't be escaping from concord then would you.

okay yes, escaping, but what if you escape by means of going through a wormhole? That isn't hiding in a station which is the only other alternative since, as far as i understand it, they'll follow you forever until they catch you???

And so, yet another question is posed,

If your in an inty and running from CONCORD, can you continuously warp to place to place and they'll eventually stop chase?

You seem to be confusing CONCORD with "FACTION POLICE"

People can and do tank, fight, gank, and escape Faction Police.

People don't tank, fight, gank, or escape CONCORD.

And yes, the devs have said basically that evading CONCORD is a bannable offense.

Hmm thats an interesting option. I'd not do it with an Inty though but with something more handy, such as a suicidgank battleship. Open a wormhole, kill someone while alligning to the wormhole (a hulk or a juicy hauler (an alt will pick up the loot)) and when the prey dies warp to the wormhole and jump thru. Concord needs few seconds, enough time to fire 2-3 volleys while alligning.
Is this an exploit ? Good question, to get an answer one could do it and see if there will be a punishment.

I don't know if they changed the way the concord aggro timer works but you used to be able to evade concord until the 15 timer was up then leave the system but that is classified as escaping concord and deemed an EXPLOIT and thus bannable.

How lame!!! It is hardly an exploit, your simply using a ship that CCP has made available to you (if you so choose to train up to it), to avoid their ill equipped police force. At least that is how I see it right now.

I quite agree if you can tank or kill enough concord or be fast enough to escape i think you should be able to, but ccp feel that ganking in high-sec should have the consequence of having your ship destroyed and if you evade that in any way it is classed as an exploit. It just means you have to pick your targets carefully and have back up to do your looting when your target and you are destroyed.

If you eject from a ship or board another ship(s) does concord kill?

This thread needs more dev input. I do think that if you evade CONCORD by jumping to W-space then that should be a valid mechanic. This is different from jumping from safespot to safespot for 15 mins, because then you're purposely exploiting a limitation of the CONCORD ship. But CONCORD ships should be able to go to W-H, and if they decide to pull back so they don't lose their lives or ships...

make an alternate penalty? AKA your sec status takes a greater hit, and your ship gets concordokkened as soon as you come back to normal space (because your sec status just dropped 5 points for dirty (but valid) tactics).

There's a rule. The rule is: if you do something that calls concord, concord will come and destory your ship. It should not be possibile to escape. If you find a way to escape, that's an unintended mechanic and escaping is an exploit of an unintended game mechanic. You may be banned.

It's quite simple, really.

Carebears can't get revenge because they have a victim mentality. (They think they have less resources available than the pvpers, when they use the same skill system, same ships, etc. They have access to it all, just have to train it, buy it, fly it, etc.)

So, carebears need the game to have an "auto-revenge" function.

If there was a chance they didn't get revenge by the invincible npc police autokilling you, they might cry.

If they cry, they quit, CCP loses subscriptions, and the rest of us might have to waste ~our~ time mining veldspar... Laughing

So no, you can't evade CONCORD. If it works, it'll get nerfed. (because aggression timers on wormholes make sense). Much like the black ops jump drive was deemed an exploit when used to jump out of a system after a gank.

This isn't a new thought - or an original one.

CCP has said clearly - avoiding CONCORD is considered an exploit, therefore ban-able.

just curious... what will happen if after you aggro CONCORD, you eject from your ship and board a rookie ship or something, and meanwhile your other ship is boarded by a 3rd party or even stashed inside an orca's maintenance bay?

will CONCORD just pop the rookie ship or still attack the ship which committed the crime? or is it even possible to eject or store in a orca while you are criminally flagged?

this is just the same when black op came into effect

shoot people and then jump out

CCP found out they scrambled you so jump drive doesnt work and those people that did CCP destroyed there ships

and were warned serverly for there action and i believe one guy got banned through it or something because he did it a few times.

so i consider you dont try it

and even if you made it to the wormhole CCP will still destroy your ship since you are still evading concord

evading is evading no matter where you are if you evade concord you will pay the price.

EDIT: more concord ship spawn until you die aswell

you used to be able to destroy concord ships for evey 1 you kiled i believe it was 5 more spawned and plus more spawned every minute or 30 seconds they they were still enagaging

the small force that turn up now is enough to kill caps easily as they neut, damp, jam, nos, point web and kill you in a matter of seconds to 1 minute

That IS a good question! I wasn't even aware you could dock in orca's. Very Happy

Doesn't matter.
Yes you can try it, but if you succeed and CCP will find out you've just used an exploit, and can be therefor banned for that.

My advice, don't even think of it.
Its pointless, and self char destructive.

all ships that you incounter while being flashy red will also become flashy red

if you dock you ship in the orca i believe the orca will be criminally flagged and a seperate concord force will be brought in to kill that.

remember you are criminally flagged for 15 minutes any ships you enter are fair game

orca pilot can only allow access to corp and fleet member when there setting have ben set as such and i believe you cant dock anyway as you have agression timer

which also makes me believe you cant leave your ships either
