Hmm i thought this was more of a 'Lets share a very good fight with the eve community, so they can enjoy watching it almost as much as we did fighting it thread'??? Not a 'Look i me while you still can before my head explode thread!!!'
Or we can continue hijacking a thread thats 'part' purpose was to promote a good fight that was enjoyed by all that took part.
If you want i can start a thread for people who believe that they constantly have to boost thier own ego's as they are very insecure in RL! I would call such a Thread 'My Names SK Rooster.. I am a self confessed WTF PAWN champion at an internet spaceship game! My life is now complete, oh wait i forgot to end these sentence's with "gg"'

Just some advice I can say from watching the vid.
1) Dont waste cap trying to mwd out of an inties point range.
2) Stop trying to kill the inties, and worry about the dps coming at you.
3) When a falcon decloaks 20km from you, thank god, and do not panic. Sick your drones on it, and if you can.... shoot it!. Do not try to run from it.
4) When you see that the nueting Domi is half armor and going down, and the Hyperion is full shield... shoot the domi! Kill targets as fast as you can instead of splitting your fire.
Otherwise an enjoyable fight to watch. Glad to see you go against so many opponents. Keep fighting!

1)To be fair he nearly made it. 2)inties were the problem not the dps 3) He knew what that falcon was as soon as it landed. It had a full shield buffer and a cyno, it was not a paper thin jambot and it was about to spawn a notr hotdrop. 4)Thats what I thought when I first saw it but looking closer the domi was over 20km away in the vid. would have been 10 sec to change ammo and the domi pilot was burger meat by then. |

Just watched your video, confirms everything I just said. Actually 2 blackops would have been enough. You took no damage at all killing like 6 of those guys until it was just a couple of interceptors left, then Rooster dropped on you and decided to 1v5 sin vs navy mega, astarte, sentinel + mega & stabber you told to warp off when you were trying to bail. No they made the right call there, and he made the right call trying to mwd away from the falcon since he was immobile for 30 seconds and was already 22km away. Note that the falcon lived longer under concentrated fire than any of those other guys ships (megathron, drake, harb, ishtar, etc). The only thing that lived longer than our falcon was our sin. I'm not sure what rooster was thinking, but he probably thought that the rest of the cannon fodder you were butchering had been slightly more effective at shooting you then they actually had been (read: not at all). I don't think he was expecting to face off against a navy mega with full health and full cap charges nevermind the other mega, astarte, etc. |

The moment the falcon appeared he switched to flight mode. He was trying to kill everything that had him pointed and webbed. |

He took no damage at the start of the fight because other ships were primaried, or are you seriously trying to tell us he is so good he avoided all the damage from the entire gang with his flawless piloting. There is a cap cyno on the falcon therefore its silly to assume a cap won't come through. I can't say for certain what rooster was thinking but he probably thought the mega had already been under fire when in reality it was only down cap, tbh It was not a crazy assumption to make. As for rooster taking on 1 vs 5, thats a bit misleading isn't it? the killmail shows only 3 people shooting him one of which did 77 damage and was already dead by the time he died, when he landed there were 4 hostile ships on the field. |

 Looks to me like rooster decided to fly with an even bigger failfleet that usual, and paid for it. Mega pilot had enough respect of NO TR ramifications to make the correct call on a cyno falcon: GTFO. |

kill ze falconz lol if u see a notr related falcon in a strange spot too close to the actual combat killit as fast as u can lol last time bout 2.5 bs on our side died in the time it took to blow up the damn ****tanked falcon  rooster might be a smacky bastardo (not meant offensive) but he and most of his mates very well know their biznez and at least half of the ppl here should better be quiet and hide in a corner instead of throwning words like fail at him. hes always up for some surprise sex afaik. for me it was a fun fight and i really dont want all that forum crap spoiling that for me so ill retreat from that thread and go back to playing the game instead of spending my time on the forums reading stuff from other ppl complaining bout how other ppl play the damn game.... |

In response to the discussion bout the navy mega taking no damage he took no damage as i was initial primary and my buffer held out for a while which is also why i dont show as being on rooster's mail or others in the middle of the fight since i warped out repped at station and came back. Btw also the stabber was also me only showed up on 2 mails cause i wasnt trying to run em both so it was only in while the mega was out repping rooster died to effectively 3 guys 1 of which is a sentinel now then i still dont think he fails like some people, those 2 were putting out a lot of dps but stop with this 5v1 talk pls u werent there and dont know the situation apparently. Rooster as has been shown killed over 150 people with that ship thats impressive but it wasn't a 5v1 against him. |

Self-destructing is not the ultimate defeat, its a tactic. If your outnumbered that heavily and they still cant kill you through a sequence then they don't deserve the loot.

You know, after watching that fight (I liked it) I thought about how Navy Megathrons are invincible and stuff.
Fast forward a week.
I'm flying through high sec, and I see a navy megathron on a gate. I look at it to bask in its glory, at which point I notice that something is scrambling it. I look around and see a myrmidon orbiting it. (o.O)
Ooo...k...
2 minutes later, the navy megathron asplodes.
From a solo myrmidon.

Was actualy nice to watch, on the other Hand I have never seen so much fail fittings in one Battle, seriously 90% of the ships that got killed(including the Navy Mega) where preaty much wacky Fits.
Serious Shield Tanking tackler Falcon? Mega with Med Rails? Stabbed Rail/Blaster Brutix? Ishtars with a AB and a 4 Cap Rechargers? Stabbed active tanking Drakes? Cap Recharger fitted Curse with AB and without Tracking Disruptors? Navy Mega, Electrons, 3x EANM, Plate, Rep Rigs, Dualrepp, 1x MFS, wtf???

Check my Loosemails.  Plated Neutron Mega or Active Tank with Hardners are the most prefered solutions today for some preaty simple reasons, the ship might have survived this fight in this layouts. |

I personaly consider any Fitting I see on Forums or BC as a idea, not as the way it should be done. I see much people out there that grap simply fits of other people and go with it. As anybody can see on the Forums it preaty much is: I donīt know how to fit it, give me a fitting now! Instead of the old starting with a ground Idea and getting sugestions in wich situations a Mod change or general change would be better or worse. I personaly was realy surised to see exactly my Mega fit several Months after reworking the standard Neutron Fitting myself to a Ship that is able to take out Nano Hacs on SHC(think I published it before somewhere). It actualy was a quite specilised fitting that switched with QR more in the a general fit(because of the Scram/Web/Speed changes). For example I didīt called the Harbinger strange, it is a bit more uncommon Beam Fitting(for Low Sec action), but includes Buffer and a Drone Mod to use Drones at Range to and fully assembels a Med Range DPS support Idea. The Fits I called strange(or simply Fail), are this one that actualy donīt have a strong point in the end or a full concept behind it within they will perform better than others. I personaly only mentioned this because it is a bit amusing, you see 1-2 Fail fits here and there in the engagements but not this often this massive amount(at least in my regular engagements). I could start a no you are wrong because... I could ignore you. Actualy I do nothing of this, since it is A under my level, B Im not interested in it/I donīt do trolling, C I realy donīt care. The points I made are preaty obvious, donīt include the common "Im better because you suck." or any personal attacks. Simply a point and a opinion, what I found a bit strange about it.  |
