But titanstory said the truth yet ^^
It's very wierd actually to read all the doubt from people there and around about "who is winnning in the south". From all of thoses who fought and still fighting against A/SE/Coven, there is absolutly no doubt about it, even from -A- I guess, so quiet theses days (good and fair opponent but totally outclassed in: experience fleet warfare, numbers, lag handling, etc..)
Goons don't need us to keep doing perfect stuff in south, even without propaganda things. |

O.V. talking about anyone being weak. lulz. Why don't you invite TCF to help you about it. You don't alrdy have the NC... but have to call in a southern alliance to help you try and remove one alliance that fails. Wow... it's amazing how simply uber you are. |

Its not about being uber, its about taking space. For pvpers its hard to wrap our minds around the mentality, especially as it appears to be "not very fun" fighting like this...but frankly its not about having fun but achieving their goals. Some like Grumpy just like to Troll, knowing how irritating it is for us to watch...as I assume at some point Grumpy liked to pvp, but now has moved into the world of new Eve where its all about achieving macro goals rather than simple goals of "fun". No point feeding the Trolls as they admit their tactics, and revel in them. Its one element of the "end game" for some in eve...the three month noob characters may believe they are having uber victories, but those like Grumpy and others who have been around for awhile know what the real score is, and they are happy with it. I suggest when we get to have a real and decent fight, enjoy it...apart from that STFU about blobs and friends etc. |

This, tbh. Said it before, but not as concisely. Just hard to imagine the desire for 'Hands Across the North' that seems to be the NC's bread and butter goal *shrug*. Ah well, they pays their money, they plays their game, just like the rest of us. See you out there. |

Nice post, though I would add that the main grief most "pvpers" had against blob/pos warfare was the unbearable lag plaguing fleet battles, making them highly unenjoyable. Now that the lag has become very managable, most of the time, even in fleet battle involving up to 1000 pilots, it made the blob/pos warfare really enjoyable, even for a lot of former lone wolves. Now you can both enjoy the fun of the pvp on the strategic scale as well as the fun of the tactical scale, which used to be impossible. I don't think anyone can deny that 1+ hour long massive fleet battle, that happen very reguarly now, aren't very enjoyable, much more than the good ol' 5v5 skirmish. Hardened pvpers are looking forward massive battles, when they used to go there reluctantly, knowing they'd most likely spend the evening looking at a black screen and logging on a few hours later in their cloning. |
