It's time for the 2008 LoveQuest! Set your alarms to 17:00 EVE-Time on December 20th.

wtf is this about? - It is time to spread some Love in the form of an event. tl;dr> Show up, free giveaways, small events, nice prizes.

Who is this for? - Anyone wanting to join in.

Will there be loot? - Absolutely, ships, modules, blueprints and more.

Events
There will be 6 main events (other small random ones may also pop up). Anyone can try participate in all events if you manage to do so, they will most likely run at the same time.

Everyone should have the ability to participate in at least one of the events so I'm trying to make them so.

Event 1, 2: Speed race; very simple, fly to given locations to pick up a code, with all the codes you will be able to get the password for the canister at the finish. This events will take you through low-sec as well as high-sec.
Equipment: A fast ship.
Location: High-sec and Low-sec, start and finish is in High-sec.
Prize(s): Low-Grade Snake Set, Fleet Stabber, Bonuses

Event 3: Carebears love; mining of course, whomever mines the most in a set time claims some nifty things.
Equipment: Preferebly a ship fitted with mining lasers and/or a gangmate.
Location: Optional.
Prize(s): Orca, CargoHulk, Bonuses

Event 4: POS siege; destroy the tower! You and everyone else has a set time to destroy a POS tower, whomever gets the most damage and/or final blow can call themselves winners - anything goes, even popping your fellow pilot to prevent them from claiming the prize.
Equipment: Anything that do damage is preferred. Maybe a tank to keep yourself alive from other pilots?
Location: Low-sec (security hits may occur).
Prize(s): The True Sansha's Nightmare, Carrier, Bonuses

Event 5: Free the loot!; Grab anything you can!
Equipment: Anything, there will be ships to board, cans to loot, stuff to scoop.
Location: High-sec.
Prize(s): Anything from T1 modules to Faction gear and ships.

Event 6: Be creative!; After DT on the 20th you will in this thread be provided with a few words/items/modules/ships - your mission is to the set deadline (announced) to show your artistic skills, paint, draw, whatever. You are to create eve-related art including said words/items/etc - the submissions will be submitted by ftp/email before the deadline (you will have some 5-6-7 hours available to you).
Equipment: Anything, photoshop, real brushes, photos, anything you can imagine to help your quest to create the perfect art.
Location: Out-of-game/in-game/everywhere.
Prize(s): The two best submissions (judged by me and maybe some guest judges depending on amount of submissions) will receive your very own The Art of EVE-book (courtesy of CCP, winners will have to contact CCP with your name, addy, email etc so they can ship the book to you).

In the event of one more more prizes not being claimed in events 1-4 they will end up in the loot pool of event 5.
